One thing I've noticed talking with friends is that different thongs work better for different folks. Like when I wear normal 'wider' fabric thongs they chafe, so I go for g-strings, the thin tiny floss type, my sister's the same but another friend has the opposite issue and prefers normal thongs.
As for sizing, I've still yet to find the perfect size/brand/cut, most underwear that fits my hips is too wide at the crotch which chafes so bad😭. Figuring out how to sew my own underwear is high on my to do list for that reason :')
