I love how Tywin actually acknowledged Tyrion's wit and obviously so frustrated when talking to his other kids. He's probably thinking 'Why in seven hells THIS one is the smartest one...'

I love when he tells Cersei " you are not as smart as you think you are." That sums up her character perfectly.

Ever notice how Tywin’s always busy doing something when people gone to speak to him? Skinning an animal, admin work, fishing, something active. He’s a doer

I love how Tywin asked Jaime why he didn’t kill Ned, not because he was angry that he didn’t kill him, but because he wanted Jaime to give him the actual correct answer, it would have created a war, instead Jaime gave him the answer that Tywin did not want to hear, that it would have looked bad, vanity saves the day, instead of good sense.

"Go on say something clever."
"Can I have a hug dad?"
-_- "get out."

"Attacking him was stupid."  Tywin's no bullshit approach to everyone was amazing in this show.  Damn that whole scene in the tent with Jamie is top class writing and acting.

Cersei finally gets a chance to have Tywin listen to her opinion and it’s “let’s get rid of our biggest ally in the war cause joffreys betrothed is manipulating him to not be a horrible human being”

15:08 That "I will" sounds ominuous.

if tyrion and tywin actually got along they would be a devastating duo

It's interesting how Tywin seems frustrated because all the traits he wants in his kids are instead spread out nearly equally among the three of them:

Jaime - Skilled in combat and strategy, and is charismatic.
Cersei - Utterly ruthless and puts family first (or her kids at least, in her own way)
Tyrion - Brillant and inventive, clever when it comes to politics and scheming

All of these traits are embodied in Tywin himself but he can't seem to get them all into just one of his kids, mostly because he himself failed in the parenting arena, something he can't seem to comprehend.

every time Tyrion leaves the table

"not you!"

9:29 Jugglers and Singers require applause. You are a Lannister. Do you think I demanded a Garland of roses every time I suffered a wound on the battlefield ?

Charles Dance is such a fucking boss

Charles Dance should have won an Emmy for his performance in this show.

You could not ask for finer actors to play these roles. These scenes are absolutely brilliant. I could watch the Lannisters just talk to each other all day.

09:56 dang. Tyrion already knew he was cooked and was like, “welp, i’m still gonna ask for Casterly Rock.”

It still amazes me that Charles Dance was able to act so well while skinning a real deer. Points for dedication.

"She's manipulating him"

"Good. I wish you knew how to manipulate him"

“Jugglers and singers require applause.” Such an epic line, Charles dance really was the perfect Tywin

14:20 that head turn without breaking eye contact screams utter dissapointment lmao
