Whenever he is down, he should look this goal up.

From Seaman's kick out to the back of the net, the Gascoigne goal is, without doubt, one of the greatest ever England goals!

It is no coincidence England reached two major tournament semi finals with Paul Gascoigne in the midfield. Far and away the most gifted creative English player ever.

I was lucky enough to be there on the day. I was sat right in line with the penalty area at the end he scored. I kept the match ticket and Gazza very kindly signed it at a book signing a few years ago. I don’t have much football memorabilia. But I will treasure this for life. Incredible player. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I still get goosebumps every time I see that Gascoigne goal.

Paul Gascoigne: the closest thing we've had to a Diego Maradona type player. Genius

Rip Terry Venables. I fell in love with English football back then. A 17 years old lad

The audacity and bare cheek of Gazza for even attempting makes this the best goal I've seen. Not fazed by the stage, played it as if he's down the park

I am Croatian, and never in my life (besides Maradona's goal vs England 1986) I saw more beautiful goal than this goal from Gazza, I get chills when I see this, PURE POETRY, genius...pure talent... PURE FOOTBALL. Cheers

I was at this game with my dad, kilts on and I hate to say it but I looks back and smile even though we lost.

Goosebumps and chills for Gazza's goal. Even after all these years.

As an Irishman it kills me to say it, but this must be one of the greatest goals of all time! 96, what a beautiful year ❤

Respect to the Scottish player 1:07 you will not find a modern day player that does nothing extra after being fouled

As my life flashes before my eyes.... and I draw my last breath... his goal will be right there.

Foden has a life time opportunity to revive this momment

Only Gazza could score a goal like that, he kick started England's euro '96 campaign with that goal. Thank you Gazza.👍⚽

Perfect storm for England: Host nation, warm sunshine, pubs full, playing Scotland, full house at Wembley, Gazza playing against some of his team mates, and the ironic celebration afterwards. It’s not just one moment which makes a memory, it’s a coalescence of several.
