Today's guest is Jacob Lockwood, former Coldstream Guards soldier and founder of Lockwood Clothing a premium British outerwear brand born from 15 years of rain-soaked exercises and a conviction that there had to be something better. Jacob grew up in Middlesbrough, fell in with the wrong crowd as a teenager, and was bundled into a car to Yorkshire by his police officer mum before the Army became his calling. As an anti-tank specialist with the Household Division, he served for over a decade before walking away, a decision forced by a split-second thought on the M4 that he was brave enough to share.

In this episode, Jacob talks about building a brand whilst he was running on four hours of sleep while still in the army, putting his house on the line for stock, and being four days from losing everything before a lifeline arrived. He shares why he refuses to manufacture anywhere but Britain, what discipline and integrity really mean when the safety net is gone, and why he writes to the King every week.
