There needs to be a video on the history of that "Song that's in every Famicom Yakyuu Game".

Interesting how so many different NES baseball games have that same in-game music playing throughout. I wonder what that's about.

"Finally, a kusoge to rival Roger Clemens' MVP Baseball and LJN's Major League Baseball."

It astounds me how much less expensive that Famicom cartridges are to their NES counterparts

12:43 215 Meter Home Run!? That's over 700 ft!

For an 10 year old in the 80s, it's a hard concept but an older kid would figure it out.

The thumbnail KIND OF LOOKED like "Baseball Stars". I was about to say "PUT'EM UP!!" HAHAHAH :)

This must be some kind of home brew or unlicensed game.

99% thats the music from Bases Loaded by Jaleco.

This must be the game I saw a commercial for when @JeremyParish uploaded a VHS rip of an 80s Japanese videomagazine. I was super curious who the American they had pitching it, and ended up reading Warren Cromartie's autobiography about his career in Japan.

The developer was in collusion with Nintendo to sell more NES controllers by making a game guaranteed to turn the a-button into an unworkable mess

Apparently the same VAP that published this game also published that Ganso Saiyuuki: Super Monkey Daibouken game, that was also a kusoge, which may be the reason Super Real Baseball 88 sucked. The developer of this game was Pax Softnica and was one of the developers that worked with Nintendo.

Bases Loaded was the only game dad and I played together. I’d be DC and he’d be Philly ❤😢

My favorite NES baseball game was Bases Loaded. It blows this game away.

While I was watching your homerun I was like "Oh wow, despite the shitty hitting, Dan has put up 7 runs on the CPU"

Then I saw the 0 turn to a 1. 😭

I never had a single issue with the fielding in Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball. Calling it "less than ideal" is nuts. Might have to do with how you set up your rosters. I always set it up with the highest defensive rankings in the positions you need the strongest arms the most. RF, CF, SS & 3B were always ranked 8-10 for defence, LF was a 7, 2B would be 5 or 6, 1B & C would be 5 or lower because runners almost never stole a base, and 1B almost never has to throw.
