Kieran I couldn't agree more with you about eastern Europe, I've been to 14 countries all in eastern Europe! It's so beautiful, rich history and culture, more reasonable priced things, food is delicious and the people are awesome! ❤❤ can't wait to go back!

The video is probably filmed during the weekend in the middle of a heat wave, that is why it is so quiet. During work days it usualy gets very crowded. Have a nice stay 😊

Welcome to Skopje! The city where I was born, raised and still currently reside in. Have a good time exploring our capital.
And for future videos, the pronunciation of the name Skopje you're making a mistake at the letter "J", it makes a sound close to "Y", like you pronounce "Yes" or "You".

Hello pal. I am a fellow Macedonian and please don't just visit Skopje and Ohrid and give these three towns a try. Go to Bitola it's our third biggest city and it has a European vibe, visit Krusevo for it's beautiful mountain views and it's history and give Trepejca a try it's a hidden gem next to the Ohrid lake and it's only 30 mins away from Ohrid. The city had a classical architectural aesthetic before it was ruined by the catastrophic earthquake that occurred in 1963. Many of the building designs are just a revival from before that time.

The last government (that also changed the name from Macedonia to North Macedonia) tried to remove the ship, lost the legal battle and instead paid people to lit it on fire.

Foreign tourists in North Macedonia need to take care... Police traffic traps target outsiders to raise revenue, problematic airbnb hosts, shopkeepers overcharging and shortchanging. Be careful - lots of people here view foreigners as walking bags of money...
