Hidden in the quiet countryside near Mount Fuji is a place with a dark history. This area was once connected to Aum Shinrikyo, one of Japan’s most infamous religious movements.

Today, there’s little to suggest what happened here. Cows graze nearby, cats wander around, and a Japanese pheasant appeared during my visit. Nature has quietly taken over, leaving almost nothing behind.

現在は牛や猫、キジが見られる静かな場所となっていて、当時を思わせるものはほとんど残っていません。
