I  had to look up where the River Crouch is. Tacking up restricted waterways is not so much fun, is it?
Three tips from me: a) get a kapok cushion to put on the cockpit floor, not so hard on the knees. I try to remain sitting with my feet up on the side tanks in light weather, but that's not an option if you have to tack at short intervals; b) ship and store the rowlocks when sailing, they could get lost if you should capsize and a sheet could possibly get tangled on them; and c) tie the ends of the jibsheets together, then you always have access to the jibsheet. Being lighter myself, my boat tends to go in irons if I let the jib back when going about, so I prefer to let it fly before putting the helm over, but that's more of a personal preference.
You certainly found a nice day to go out in! I haven't taken "Puffin" out yet this spring.

Love your boat.  I live in Houston Texas (USA) and bought an old Mirror dinghy.  Haven’t gotten my boat on the water, but your sailing looks like fun.  Hope you are enjoying your boat!

Hi! Nice video and beautiful little boat. Only thing I would comment is if you are not talking or having music play then leave the water sound in the video. I think most boat enthusiasts would enjoy hearing it. I myself find that it puts me in a more relaxed or meditative state.

Hi, thanks lot. I got the same boat, but my weight is 69kg, and I add (in front of the sword) about 25kg stones, to stabilize the boat. Cause otherwise the bow looks  too high up u know.  And what is your weight?  Did u think to put some heavy in front of?  Good luck, Wez!!!  Boris
