Loved watching this. I will be doing the same trip on the same date this year in my Wayfarer, slightly nervous, but watching this makes me feel more confident.

What an awesome trip! The beer and cigars denote the most laid-back little luxury barky on the south coast. Each time I tell myself a Mirror wouldn't be enough boat for me, someone shows me it's plenty. Fantastic to see your view of Fort Victoria from seaward - we were there in July watching a big schooner come through.

Wow man. What an adventure sailing across The Solent. I love your videos, particularly the more adventurous one like this. I'd love to do a similar journey in my boat, which isn't a Mirror, but is a similar length and is a Mk.3 Gull. What's the name of the app you were using on your phone? It certainly looks to be a worth while investment. Much respect to you for showing what can be done in a small boat.

I know you're a Patrick O Brian fan, some of the books have a little diagram in telling you what all the sails are called..William was flying a Mizzen Staysail...I should get out more! Fantastic video as usual...
