I just noticed the lowercase "i" in r/MILDLYINFURiATING

I love Lexi's creative insults. I wish I was half as hilarious and adorably witty as her.

2:15 "May your bed be full of frosted flakes, your slippers be full of lego and your wi-fi always be terrible"
I gotta write that insult down, this is gold

The other infuriating part of the "visit the bathroom/water fountain during passing periods " mentality is when the scheduled passing periods do not allow enough time to do anything besides going from one class to another,  depending on where classes are located in the school compared to bathrooms/water fountains

Jack: cursed as hell
Robin: gets mad
Lexi: wholesome; gives advice when she can
Damien: *gremlin energy*

That first one isn’t just mildly infuriating, it’s incredibly dangerous.
Concrete isn’t the best thing to touch with bare skin, as it’s corrosive.
Really hope that kid is ok.

Edit: it’s caustic, I’m a goober. Thanks that one guy named jay!

The sad part is, as someone who has been to the school shown at 27:56, yes, they absolutely give zero F's about the student body, it's all about the football. They FINALLY tore down the two giant dorms that were frightening to live in and transferred everyone to overpriced apartments nearby. They put up a new building every 10 years that's super fancy to try and entice people into coming there and then leave the other buildings to rot. That entire school is r/MildlyInfuriating

10:11 "shrinkification" made me laugh. Bless you, Lexi.

6:27 Banksy literally demonstrated the problems of things like NFTs by literally having a self shredding work of art that had made it all over the news

"Why does the milk have corners?" I just fell on the floor laughing because of that

I love how Lexi is actually giving us walkthroughs/tips on how to fix things. Thanks Lexi!

Fun fact about 18:00 - There are regulations about how close a light switch can be to a water source to stop people electrocuting themselves with wet hands, which is why you sometimes get those pull switches on the ceiling with a string, or lightswitches outside like this - They can't get the switch far enough away from the water source, so they put it outside the room.

At 10:44 the original purpose for the pom poms at the top of the hats was to guard peoples heads from banging on the rafters of the ships they were on. Also alot had a certain design specific to each family to help with identifying the person if they were lost during certain conditions. The knitted sweaters were the main way to identify a person as that was harder to be removed.

Dear Lexi,to answer your question about the fuzzy ball on the hat, they are put there because their original use is to protect lumberjacks from bumping their heads on lumber while moving it from place to place during the winter.Hope this helps. Also I enjoy Emkay videos thank you guys for everything you do.

Fun fact about the puff ball on top of hats from my uncles, they were originally created for workers normally in the construction business to reduce the impact on their heads when walking under a low bearing doorway or frame. I’ve also heard sailors made them for the same reason.

9:44 Lexi, your enthusiasm about bread sushi really makes me want to try it.

10:34 fun fact: the lil fluffy bits on hats are there when sailors down below deck (not like pirate ships but old navy ships from like the 30s or something? I'm not sure) were hitting their heads on the ceiling really often since it was so low hanging and the ship was moving. Giving them hats with these funky lil fluffy bits, gave them a warning when they felt the pressure on their head from the fluffy bit touching the ceiling so then they would know to duck a lil bit and then it found it's way onto winter hats but the sailors are where it originated from.

2:15 "So Staples, From a Network Engineer... May your bed be full of Frosted Flakes, your slippers be full of LEGOs and your WIFI always be terrible. "
That's some curse. 🤣🤣

"showing a little ankle like a little WHO-" I LOVE LEXI WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING SHES SO AMAZING

8:45 fun fact, most of the clothes with those things in them are generally at least 80% plastic anyways.
