How is it that Noctis has more chemistry with every other girl but the girl he's suppose to get with?  Like on a serious note, even that DLC girl, Sarah, seemed more like a potential love interest than his main one and she's not even part of the main story in anyway.  It's like the makes didn't even try and just expect people to accept Luna because she's the main heroine and not because they grew closer together over the journey.  Luna isn't even a bad character, they just did nothing with her until late in the game while other women have interacted with Noctis far earlier and for longer overall.  I get why Luna isn't involved until later, being basically the McGuffin that everyone is after, but if she's out of way because of story reasons then if you're going to build a romance around her you gotta find a way to incorporate her more while still telling the story you're telling.

I relate so hard to being swept up in the hype for this game and subsequently feeling really strongly about it, in spite of its flaws. It's a game that lives and dies on its core characters and the subtle, quiet moments you have with them, so it's lovely that the boys are so well-realized and the world is so rich.

final fantasy xv was my first final fantasy too and i became a huge fan of the franchise because of it. and its really funny because despite playing other ff games that people say are better... they simply can't compare to xv for me despite the issues i had with it. i will never forget the feeling of crying my eyes out at the campfire scene.

Despite how jank the game's story was, I love the camping and fishing mechanic. Hours gone away completing the fish compendium.

That flashback cutscene with Luna saying how much she cares for Noctis and the cutscene of the boys trying to fight Ardyn at the crystal were both in the base game at launch. Source: I beat the game three times and 100% it before the Episode Gladio DLC even came out back in the day, and never came back to the game after Episode Ignis

Your vids are such fun, I'm consistently sensible chuckling to myself while listening and surprised it doesn't have hundreds of thousands of views yet. Commenting to boost engagement

This video deserves so much more engagement, and as salty as i am about vs 13, ff15 had grown on me for sure.

i never saw trailers of versus 13 back in the day, hell i wasn't even a final fantasy fan but hell i had one of the best times everr with this game

This is such a good retrospective on final fantasy 15 I hope this get a lot of views it just as fun to watch .

Just hanging out with the boys playing dress up, going camping, fighting stuff sometimes and seeing the sights, peak game.

Honestly, the best picture you can use at the end of the video is the one you can use until the turtle. Because Esse Lasagne uses the ring against the turtle. The longest boss fight lasts less than five seconds. And then you rest in the hotel and then you have three times as much experience, which makes it all the funnier.

I love this game. I love the combat and the themes of the story, they're my absolute favorite of the series.

As someone who's been playing this series for over 20 years, I am ashamed to admit this is like my second favorite Final Fantasy.

Commenting for boost! This video was amazing! Found you through the Tales retrospectives and have been watching your content since :D

2:11:11 dude I never made it far in this game and choosing the one photo scene made me cry just from watching this video. I guess they did what they wanted with the photos. Truly beautiful.

Is your other channel still up?

You are an inspiration for sure. I am glad you decided to do what you want to and not ride hype trains. Seriously your videos are amazing. I have no idea how much time and effort you put into these but your cuts, inserts, edits, and energy you put in your videos are master class. There is nothing I can really say to come close to how well you do. Your channel is definitely underrated. I can tell you have come so far even without getting to watch your old stuff. From streaming a whole game with next to no one watching but still able to find the enjoyment in what you are doing is phenomenal. Don't lose the love you have for your art and good things will happen in ways you might not have expected.

Thank you so much for the content you create. Keep following your passion.

2 times i've cried in a game ending, RDR2 and this one

I confess, I was hyped for all th pre release stuff as well. I’d played prior ff games, but still got hyped for this. Waiting trailers daily for weeks till it came out. Despite all the complaints, I still loved my time with the boys. Putting so many hours into their journey. I’m glad someone else enjoyed it too

Watched this video throughout the week and finally finished it and left feeling inspired

I haven't played this game, but I wonder if the whole thing with Noctis was that he was scared of the marriage, as it was arranged, but did care about Lunafreya. But because his bad feelings of the wedding projected onto her, he was nervous to talk to her, and kept putting it off until they saw each other again in person (unfortunately kind of right before the wedding). And then it was too late. Maybe trying to make it more of a tragedy than an actual romance, don't put off telling people how you feel in case something bad happens. Because I also don't feel any chemistry between them, but maybe that was the point? No idea. Anyway, great video!

"Off my chair, jester. The king sits there." That line still goes so hard lol. And yeAH boY you best believe I cried at that last campfire scene! Yet felt absolutely nothing when Luna Freya died 😂. The game just didn't let me care. I had more attachment to Arenaya honestly. Wanted my dragoon mommy to take care of me ❤️
