Whe this movie (ORCA) first came out and I saw it i balled my eyes out - not for the humans but for the orcas. REVENGE IS SWEET.

When humans are driven mad with greed. Nolan is the modern day Capt Ahab, a man plagued by tragic hubris and madness.

I have seen a lot of shocking things in years past, but when I was a little 7 year old boy…the scene the female orca was birthing, while she was hanging there…devastated my little brain back then……still does

It goes to show how intelligent an Orca is, driven to the North to a field of giant icebergs the Orca gets revenge on the captain who left part of it's family dead, hadn't got any memory of seeing this really good film till today

My older cousin sneaked me into cinema to see AA and X movies in the mid to late 70s.

Jaws scared me a lot but this movie was an assault on every emotion.
The dead fetus has stayed in my mind for 50yrs.

I was car_camping w my uncle, and fishing for Newfoundland trout, when this film wz made in the same coves we were visiting, same summer.
We probably missed the film crews by only a couple of weeks....
We later heard that th local youngsters even threw rocks at th film personnel, interestingly enough.. That was summer 77..

Amazing trip
