"I know writers who use subtext and they're all cowards!"

If you look closely at 21:00 you can just about tell they used a stunt double for that intense section

25:29 Learner knows something 😱😆

This is worth a rewatch if you can get hold of the dvd version and watch with the commentary track as they did all the promo work in character so it’s Garth, Dean and Todd talking about the making of the show while clearly getting drunk

Lucy is so unassuming. She'll sit there with this polite composure and then all of the sudden drop the filthiest comments you've ever heard. It's impressive! 😆

21:00 I love the classic "stuntman in wig" bit here 😂❤

Why is this tv show so good. I mean it’s like they didn’t even try but at the same time think of everything.

I like the way Rick counts 5 bullets in the revolver, yet they still get it wrong later as he fires 6 times.

Julian Barratt  the priest was also in the first episode conducting the funeral where the corpse and his mother was shot , was in the mighty boosh but you missed the fact the alpha ape in the bicycle  chase scene was played by Noel Fielding who was also in the mighty boosh ! So two of the mighty boosh in this one !

The implication is Dean definitely had Madeline killed....

6:35 subtle xtra joke for the ego trip of paying for the kids prescription costs, (a) prescriptions for children are free across the UK and (b) also free for all hospital in-patients. So no prescription costs to cover on 2 counts!

"Water, water, not a drop to drink" is from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. He was one of the Lake Poets, around the 1800s from what I remember from school, which isn't much. Lol!

Bill Wyman is the bass player with the Rolling Stones 😊

I think the reason this episode takes so long on copyright is the bloody song at the end credits lol. Also I just noticed at the very end of the credits on the Avalon screen at the bottom it says "Channel Four Televsion Corporation" I wonder if the typo in television has been there for every episode?

Nice,  you finally got episode 4 out.

diffo hair again. speaking of hair did anyone else notice the stunt doubles dodgy wig in the running scenes?

Bill Wyman is an English musician best known as the bassist for the iconic rock band The Rolling Stones from 1962 to 1993.

At last....... So funny :).

Crazy easter egg so many people miss: Dean Learner is admitting he killed Liz’s actor for “insulting Garths writing” lol. Earlier in the episode he mentions hitting a child for insulting Garth’s writing, and then Garth at the end is saying how Liz’s actor corrected his work and told him to add a verb and that his sentence was “inelegant.” Then he says: “And then ever so quietly she went.” AKA she was offed by Dean, the guardian angel of Garth’s honor. 😂😅 Hence why Dean says “I don’t think they’ll find anything.” And knows that her body is “somewhere in the eastern bloc” lol.

I feel like you guys missed the insinuation that Dean murdered Madeline...
