Your channel has never been recommended to me before and I don't know how the algorithm knew, but this episode features my cousin Melissa (the now ex-wife of the son Duke). She said Gordon was so kind to her and the experience encouraged her to leave a bad situation.

Gotta love the:
"Your business is dying."
"WHY ARE YOU TALKING MONEY????"
🙄

I don't know if I've seen one too many episodes of Decorating Cents, but I think that what this lodge needs is some lamps made out of cowboy boots glued to wood and some framed dungarees hung on the walls.

The hotel has been renamed and renovated as The Lindsay Lodge. It has an 8.8 score on Expedia and seems to be doing well. They sold it in 2022

I can't get over how obnoxious the sons are??? Like you all built that house together but your parents own it and allow you to run your businesses out of it, and you're not helping with the cost of the upkeep of anything for your mother??? They're delulu. I felt so bad for her.

"A mosaic of semen" isn't a phrase I thought I would ever hear😂

The ex-husband is completely useless.
Son 1 is making money but not giving one cent back which is ridiculous.
Son 2 is making couple of 100s dollars while costing the business more overall each night.
The mom is left to do EVERYTHING while supporting these 3 man children. 😑

as someone who has stopped doing weed within the past week after years of heavy use and realizing it was getting out of hand, more people need to understand that you don’t have to have a physiological addiction to have a problem. sometimes you need a change!

I catch myself saying “it looks like stained glass” all the time as a vocal stim. My cat Bijoux probably thinks she looks like stained glass by now 💀

Honestly, I wish the mum could've just left. Just leave these awful men behind and start a new life.

Gordon is very anti drug, think his brother was an addic and a close friend of his died of an overdose. Its why he did a massive doccumentry on cocaine within the restaurant buisness.

The renamed Lindsay Lodge DOES have a section on their website for weddings and events, so the new owners saw the same potential as well!

Making a hotel and not wanting business is like making a raincatcher and not wanting water

The lodge was purchased in late 2022 by the Eastman family, who rebranded it to honor its history while updating the interior. It is known for its serene, scenic location and as a hub for local events.
