I had a friend who was solid middle class and he would complain about how his family was going broke. They could still pay all their bills but instead of a two week vacation at their beach house, they could only spend one. It was then I realized broke means different things depending on your own personal experience of going without.

The whole "I made $3000 last month!" pissed me off. So he raised his prices and he STILL only managed to get her an extra $1000, ONCE!? I may be reaching, but I'm getting pretty strong misogynist vibes from this man. He thinks he deserves more, he had his own section, separated from the other employees... it all feels very mush as though he believes himself to be in a higher class than the rest of the employees. He really gives scammy, greedy vibes.

So Cathy took home 2k a month which covered rent and she had to pay for everything else out of her savings, but Tim was taking home 8k a month and couldn’t spare any of it to help the business and Cathy? How much is his lifestyle? Did he have a coke problem or something? How can someone be earning 8k a month and still be struggling to afford their lifestyle?

I once had a hairdresser flirt with me. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable with it, but I felt I had to laugh it off because she was near my head with sharp objects. She may think she’s being funny or friendly, but I now actively avoid that chain of salons because of that experience.

Maybe I'm just a cynical wig reading into something that's not there but feel like Julianne might have been given a different time to be there compared to everyone else because she says "I'm not late" but then no one actually says what time it is like "it's 10.20 you were meant to be here at 10", Tabitha says "your late because everyone else is here" but maybe everyone else is early and she's there at the time she was given.
