Why she has never been appointed Poet Laureate, I really do not know . . . A national treasure.

She should be a Dame this lovely humble woman..for all the pleasure she's brought us ..😊

I was a child when I first saw Pam Ayres perform and now I'm at an age where I can really relate to her humour about ageing, she is as funny as ever.

I've never watched a whole Episode of Pam Ayres like this, but she's Phenomenal!!! She doesn't appear to have any kind of script and it seems to come so easily to her...Tremendously well done! She deserved that MBE!! 🤩😍😀

I love this wonderful lady, her humour is unique,   🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

She really should be made a Dame ❤️

She's such a breath of fresh air in this awful awful world and not one word offended

Her timing is impeccaple. It all must be exhausting but she is an absolute joy

I've loved Pam Ayres ever since the days of Opportunity Knocks.  So talented yet no conceit, no "celebrity status"... just a lovely, clever lady who clearly enjoys making people happy😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

Pam's accent takes me back to childhood, Most of my family lived in Witney, Ducklington, and Carterton.
When I got back to school in London, Everyone was looking around for me Sheepdog.
Cos I was talking like an Ol' Farmer.

What a complete and total pleasure she is! She has wit, laughing eyes and the most charming impish grin I think I've ever seen. Her timing is absolutely on the spot. And you just chuckled the whole time because her rhymes are so witty and you can relate to them completely. What a find!

Still as delightfully hilarious as ever! Thanks for putting this up so we can relive the joy of Pam ❤

Pam. I am a snooker coach and during a solo practise session I was listening to your poems on YouTube, I couldn’t pot a ball because I was laughing so much. You just have to write a poem about snooker and it’s players. The problems they have, travelling, conditioning, name calling, equipment, nap, cues, the tip, kicks, referees etc. It would be wonderful.

I watched Pam the first time on Opportunity Knocks in 1975.

When Hughie Green introduced her by saying she was going to recite a poem I remember thinking how can someone come on this entertainment show and recite a poem. I certainly wasn't expecting to enjoy the performance. Little did I think that I would still be laughing at her wonderful poems 50 years on.

I was lucky enough to see Pam live when she played our Priory Centre in St Neots and she was truly entertaining and funny. I still read my books of her poems on a regular basis and they always keep me laughing.

Great talent....that thankfully isn't age dependent...thank goodness for Opportunity Knocks bringing Pam Ayres into all our lives. 🎉

She is an absolute treasure....

Pam Ayres. Everyone who has a good sense of humor should watch her.She is the best comedian ever

She is unique. Never lost for words, totally unscripted and natural.

What a TOTAL JOY to watch this lovely lady. What the world needs is fun and laughter, and boy does she present it. Bless you Pam. 😊
