I went to see her live not too long ago. Just a chair on the stage, no gimicks or show-bizzy nonsense. She just sat down, without a visible script, and entertained. An often overlooked and talented lady.

Wonderful! A few years ago my husband took me to see Pam in Leeds. He wasn't that keen, he did it for me as he knew I was a fan. It was brilliant, and my husband laughed as much as I did!

Pam’s book about the dormouse is on my shopping list for my young grandchildren, they will love it. They love books but I didn’t realise Pam had written childrens books until I watched this fabulous interview.
