THE Commissar Yarrick is a man that understood Ork psyche and absolutely took 110% advantage of it, the man took the idea " if they believe it, take advantage of it" to a an entire new level.

get yourself someone that looks at you like Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka looks at Commissar Yarrick.

I always liked the idea Yarrick was functionally immortal simply because enough Orks believed he was.

Its characters like Yarrick that make me hope normal humans are still worth something in settings where there are superhumans, monstrosities and people born with powers.

I really appreciate that you dont pause the video every 30seconds to say something but instead let it run and then dedicate a brief segment to explain things 👍

iirc, when Ghazghul released Yarrick they were speaking in high gothic. Not orkish or low gothic. Which in part terrified Yarrick to his core because it meant that not only was this enemy releasing him, but he wasn't dumb. The last orks the imperium knew who could speak high gothic were during the war of the beast. Meaning Yarrick a man so well versed in Ork culture he knows how to exploit it got a first hand glimpse at what will become the next Beast.

I don't know why but i like to think that the only reason of Yarrick survived that explosion just because the orks believed he was to though to die

I like how orc boyz are giving me the impression of ogres from gummie bears

Orks describes Yarrick like Bruce Willis in Die Hard 😂

Wouldn't be surprised if Armageddon is the origin planet of orks, would make sense since it it is the most consistent war zone for them and much of their power is just situated toward and outward from there

"I'm not a huge fan of the style of this animation".

Smiles when the Gaz and bale are introduced with the sick metal riff.

Lol I love how the story teller really admires Yarrick "And that is with one arm, and one eye!". It shows the beliefs and what the Ork culture is like as well.

This is why I loved Commissar Yarrick since he was one of the most badass 40k characters ever made, not only is he fear of no one but above all he is able to stand up to his nemesis Ghazghkull since a big war between the Imperium and the Orks, and it's also interesting to see that these two characters respect each other even if they are rivalries during the second and third armageddon wars, it's like it reminds me of a much like in the samurai shogun era when the two warlords Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda have been rivals since they clashed in them during the Battle of Kawanakajima but they are respected towards each other even during the battle

but that's what I find sad on the other hand is that in one of the 40k codex it was confirmed that Commissar Yarrick is dead that many people think that Angron is the one responsible because we can see the skull with the cybernetic eye that it was the head of Commissiar Yarrick in a new model of Angron, and what is also even more interesting that I don't know if it's really true on a rumor, is that not only Ghazghkull is back for all his years of his absence but above all he had learned that his nemesis died in the hands of Angron and that he was going to take revenge for justice in memory of his rival Commissar Yarrick even if it is the first time that we can see an ork like Ghazghkull going to take revenge on someone for justice on Yarrick's death

Who's here after the announcement?

1:50 reminds me of something you'd see in a Anime fr

Love how matter of fact the orks are. Their perception of reality is such a hidden blessing. In a galaxy of perpetual war, they are the perfect species.

One correction: The evolved Orks seen during the War of the Beast are most probably not Krorks, but were quite close. That said, the Necron lord Trazyn's "museum" does hold an Ork-like creature that is *unusually massive* and clad in a suit of powered armor that has an obviously Orkish aesthetic but is surprisingly sophisticated nonetheless, the implication being that this is a bona fide Krork from the ancient War in Heaven where the species had taken its first steps and fought against the undying legions of the Necrons.

His Baneblade is literally named "The Fortress of Arrogance". Normally a Baneblade has a very aggressive and boisterous machine spirit, but Yarrick has forged this volatile behaviour into cold, hard hatred of the foe.

6:38 Dreadnought in the background standing still "I'm honored to witness my brothers strenght."

I do wish we could've heard Yarricks inner thoughts when he spoke with Thrakka before leaving. He inner monologue considers if he's actually alive or stuck in a nightmare before Thraka spoke to him. Not in Orkish, not in low-gothic, but in HIGH-Gothic. taps him once in the stomach "My best enemy" he gestures to the ship "Make way to Armageddon, for the greatest fight".

One solid theory is that Yarrick is NOT the manifestation of the Ork's physic belief into immortality but perhaps an attempt from the Emperor to use Yarrick as a Living Saint incubator due to the continuing difficulty of summoning Celestine and Sanguinor into the material plane where Orks then to invade and accidentally release Warp terrors? In essence, Yarrick isn't immortal because Ork believe him to be but just as strong AS Gazghull, solidifying their prophecy that the Commisar would fight the Gork and Mork Prophet to the very end! Orks can only "die" in defeat of an enemy but eventually revive with proper Ork Tek and Majik! Only way to kill an Ork properly; sever their STONG link towards their Gods so they don't come back.
