Do you see these types of “luxury” apartments where you live?

Luxury now means you have a roof over your head.

Luxury used to mean a downtown high rise close to everything, a doorman, and car service. not a stack of shoeboxes in an old cornfield in the flight path of passing 747’s.

I've reached the conclusion that life has officially become one big scam and we're all screwed.

One of the fascinating things about being an old guy is watching how rapidly this idiocy is accelerating. I find it amazing that even young GenZ folks are calling out the massive overreliance on technology. Like who the fuck needs or wants WiFi enabled appliances?

Anything with the word "luxury" in it is something I immediately ignore. Need to train yourself to avoid all BS.

They're called """"luxury"""" so they can reject section 8. The build has nothing to do with it obviously.

If an  apartment has Popcorn ceiling and anything is beige, it should automatically be under $1500.

Luxury isn’t a legally protected term.
It’s meaningless, it’s a marketing term.

My wife and I got lucky. We shopped around for houses after our rent went up by 15% overnight. Found a modest house worth 170k being sold for 120k becuas the woman who owned it was moving into hospice care. Our mortgage is 800 a month. Even with paying about 200 more dollars in utilities that are usually covered by landlords, we are still doing better financially than we were in an apartment

They're just throwing up overpriced apartments and houses like it's nothing nowadays.

Actual "Luxury" apartments don't need to advertise or state that they are Luxury. They just are.

Only $72,000 a year for an apartment?!?!

What a deal!!! 😂😢

I want to live an apartment that is 800 dollars a month for one bedroom. No more “luxury” apartments, thank you.

PI's / blackrock.
If we want affordable homes...gotta get rid of those.

I’m a homeless services social worker in Boston and the housing market is INSANE. If the waitlist wasn’t so long I’d be eligible for a section 8 voucher which is the only way I’d be able to afford a one bedroom apartment on my own. And somehow they expect people with significantly lower incomes than my own to afford a place to live? Insane.

It's just like the car industry, not everyone wants every luxury feature in cars today, we need affordable cars and apartments..we need a total reset

I'll be honest. I avoid anything that claims to be "luxury"

That apartment buildings at 5:06 with the jet flying over then the one with the train passing by: You just KNOW the ads will read, "Close to Transportation"!   😆😅🤣😂

2:11 dude the no closets thing is so real!! We’re moving from a “luxury” community to a non-luxury community and will save about $500 a month…not including water, which is currently billed separately.
