Mom’s been out for cigarettes for 73 DAYS

Keep getting reminded that there's just a coyote here the whole time. brilliant comic relief. something fucked up happening? its okay, Lamp is also here

i'm so obsessed with the way every SINGLE npc they meet is like '...chill the fuck out? you're literally not important. nobody cares. no one is coming to get you' and the coterie is constantly 'WE NEED TO USURP THEIR POWER THE FULLBLOODS ARE KILLING US THE HUMANS ARE KILLING US WE'RE FORMING AN ARMY NOBODY TELL SAMANTHA'

the planning at the end of this ep (MAKE them care) reminded me of a quote:
“Rich kids should go to public schools. The mayor should ride the subway to work. When wealthy people get sick, they should be sent to public hospitals. Business executives should have to stand in the same airport security lines as everyone else. The very fact that people want to buy their way out of all of these experiences points to the reason why they shouldn’t be able to. Private schools and private limos and private doctors and private security are all pressure release valves that eliminate the friction that would cause powerful people to call for all of these bad things to get better. The degree to which we allow the rich to insulate themselves from the unpleasant reality that others are forced to experience is directly related to how long that reality is allowed to stay unpleasant. When they are left with no other option, rich people will force improvement in public systems. Their public spirit will be infinitely less urgent when they are contemplating these things from afar than when they are sitting in a hot ER waiting room for six hours themselves.”

anyway, eat the rich. get 'em, coterie

Having come here after binging LA by night and NY by night I have caught up on this series in 4 days. Alex is a captivating storyteller and the cast has all been absolutely stellar.
I dread the wait that will follow but now I get to be excited when new episodes drop and I'm going to join the patreon to support

Luis over here investigating the city underworks on two campaigns simultaneously =D

I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT IN THE CRATE

ooooo a weird sewer system you say...........it would be crazy if this was in hollywood.........near the LA river.................that would be craaaazy

Jade to Eddie: "I want to know less about your life." :D

You know I want you guys to know that my life has been a complete catastrophe and this is the only thing that I've been watching. That makes me feel better because it's my favorite thing. Vtm I'm happy that there is something continuing the format of La by night and some of these professional vtm shows

I love how the themes and conversations are mirroring what's happening in our country today, I see you and I love it ♥

We really need a Baron of the Valley cameo.

I kept thinking about Jasper during this entire episode.

oh shit, vampire ICE. you can't prove there's allegory in this!!

I hope they will go to Asylum in the coming episodes as they planed (because let's face it, "Elysium in Santa Monica a baron resides" could be only Asylum) and Whitney Moore will be the guest kindred and we will experience her chaos as one or both of Voerman sisters. That would be very cool.

Gable has really grown on me. Out of all PCs, his personality feels like the most "out of genre" but in a really compelling way. He introduces a kind of levity and humanity into the player dynamics - so naturally I would love to see him in particular be confronted with his beast more in the future and see how he develops...

36:05 I love that in their panic they fully forget that they staked Hank to put him into Torpor for the Coco ritual. (I know Gable wasn't there, but the other two were)

Xander beat me to "vampire puberty" but LITERALLY one second!

Gable: I'll check the wallet!
Me: For what? We all know anybody can break into the DMV and print fake ID!

I feel like the running person led them to the outpost on purpose... BUT WHY
