the horror show has horror in it gang. fucked up

I know Jade getting hangry wasn’t planned, but the leopard print feels very thematically appropriate.

Some one mentions thin bloods disappearing.... Jasper?
Its a basement full of blood and a tunnel..... Jasper????
Its a labrenth.... JASPER?!?!?!

You're at hunger 5 and invisible. What could go wrong?

God this series is peak TTRPG actual play. I wish this series was weekly year round, but Alexander needs time to rest his mind too.

58:15 gable: ''after you eddie, you do love man holes''

28:15 Alex cackling is pure storyteller joy.

"Hey, we're on another show..." I think it's commendable that they don't reference CR outright, especially when Alex and Aabria have been in the trenches at the Seekers table for the last batch of episodes (and Luis is about to be in the trenches when the Schemers table starts on Thursday).

Don't get me wrong, being a mega-Critter is what led me here and I've binged everything up until now over the last couple of days. But this series stands entirely on its own merits as a stellar example of an Actual Play TTRPG. It doesn't need CR's branding to justify its existence.

The way people are allowed (nay, encouraged) to stand up, rearrange their groupings, act things out, etc., lends an entirely different level of immersion. (It reminds me of the live Candela show CR did.) It's really amazing what happens when people aren't confined to a table -- and when your GM isn't confined to sitting behind their screen. Alex inserting himself into their space as NPC's is fantastic; the way he TOTALLY gets into their personal space when he's playing the voice in their heads is ESPECIALLY unnerving (in the best way possible).

Anyways. Those are my observations as someone who's been a Critter for about four years, but who's brand new to this particular fandom. Y'all can be damn well sure that I'll be tuned in for this every other Friday like I am for CR on most Thursdays.

Bro, the clicking sounds at the end reminiscent of the creature from their Candela Obscura oneshot... Are we cooked?

THE CLIFFHANGER DEAR GAWD EP 18 CANT BE OUT SOON ENOUGH.

Finally sitting down to properly watch the rest of this episode. Alex seems to find much joy in describing exactly how gross the sewers are, i'm here for it😁

I was thrilled to see how Gina would navigate 5 Hunger Jade and I was not disappointed. I did not expect where the blood room the coterie were seeking out was going to lead. Even if this is only a thinly veiled reference to the LA by Night labyrinth, it was a genuine treat. Can't wait to see who else is running around in the dark!

GINA DEVIVO the performer that you are! just incredible work, and jade is such a thoughtfully conceived and compelling character.

i can’t believe the level of skill involved from everyone in this series. i (and i’m sure many others) crave a home game with the level of dedication, thoughtfulness, mutual trust, and SAUCE that this team delivers. got me capitalizing whole words like a boomer responding to AI generated ragebait

I would LOVE for Alex to tap back into Jasper 😊❤🎉

Occtis screams between the realms "DC! DC!!" 😄

The whole set up is awesome, you're exploring the sewers, its dark, its scary, it smells bad, you find a body and realized someone is running away from you and your friends. TERRIFYING

Spoilers below!

43:33 Weeping Angel! Actually, just a statue. Sorry, I had to. Love this series!

All right, the scene with Jade feeding was masterful, Gina never ceases to amaze me. Both body language and everything else was so on point!

That has to be the Labyrinth, like others say, right? It actually didn't hit me until the whole thing about feeling disoriented and seeing things that aren't there, while sensing no mind shenanigans at play. It has to be! It would be funny if that was really Jasper, but who's hanging there?? Before leaving they truly should have said "just hang in there, we'll come back".
The whole time, at saying how one doesn't think how smelly and damp those places are, I kept thinking how much time we spent in there in LA by Night and somehow never got that impression. Now I have to imagine Nosferatu all as permanently stinky, other than ugly.
Actually, at the start, with the statues thing I was thinking it'd be a Tzimisce we were gonna meet.

Those dirty jokes, I never know if it's more Xander or Gabe, but well placed as usual.

Oh. Oh well. ....WHAT THE HELL?! :'D Getting labyrinth flashbacks but the whole sequence from finding the entrance to the sewer to wherever they just ended up was perfect because it was just lowkey getting more and more eerie.

Alex is so good at this, and I love everyone on this channel. I would watch this hours and hours daily.
