I highly recommend checking out Heart of the Beast if you get time. It is one of my favorite movies of the year! I am a sucker for dogs movies but it is truly awesome. It’s a really great badass and emotional journey! After the movie was over I went to the store and bought my dogs some toys and treats lol.

Heart Of The Beast Was Incredible Cody! Highly Recommend If You’re A Fan Of David Ayer, Who Is Directing It! And Definitely Pulls On The Heartstrings 😊😊❤❤

I always look forward to your uploads.

1. Heart of the Beast

Brad Pitt dog movie would’ve been #1 hehe

Forgotten Island was my favorite movie of this month, DreamWorks continue to prove depsite their inconsistent quality of films, they can make an masterpiece with amazing animation, great characters, excellent voice acting and beautiful messaging 🥰

Best time of the year!!  🍁🧡

Codys food analogies👌

Hope was a good, fun September movie. The alien block buster we needed this year.

The Onslaught gas station scene had me locked in... and thats about all I really have to say about that.

7. Don’t Move-This horror novel adaptation from an Impractical Joker is still watchable and passable entertainment, but it doesn’t deliver enough thrills and spider antics as a creature feature, or compelling character work to really care about the cast’s survival
6. By Any Means-A decent film adapting real-life events that took place in 1966, featuring good acting from Mark Wahlberg and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, following some fairly reminiscent story beats, and delivering some commentary on civil rights leaders
5. Runner-While this action thriller from Angel Studios isn’t overly memorable, as a big enjoyer of these kinds of movies, I found the dynamic between Ritchson and Wilson quite strong, the action well done, and the ticking clock element’s urgency
4. Forgotten Island-DreamWorks Animation’s latest film, aside from being a bit too high-energy in its humor and pacing for me personally, features a genuinely great soundtrack and several fun characters, all while combining the Eternal Sunshine’s story concepts and The Hangover’s central storytelling mechanism
3. Resident Evil-The best live-action Resident Evil film is a tightly crafted and often gnarly survival horror thriller with great lead acting from Austin Abrams, strong humor in its first half, and too much humor in its second half
2. Primetime-As someone who’s watched a fair bit of To Catch a Predator episodes and clips, I found this story, based on an Esquire article from nearly 20 years ago, to be rather engaging and thought-provoking, despite potentially having a couple of concepts too many
1. The Weight-This film won’t be in my Top 10 Favorite 2026 films at the year’s end, but for not being a high-profile release, this was my favorite September film for its really tense sequences, solid character work, and commendable direction from first-time film director Padraic McKinley

Here are the September 2026 movies I didn’t watch:
American Summer
Bad Apples
Best of the Best
Charlie Harper
Clash of the Thundermans
Come with Me

You will love Heart Of The Beast. A different movie and really touching. Had low expectations but surprised me. Close second spot only under Residet Evil as I am a fan of the IP

Definitely check out Heart of the beast, I dont usually cry at films but this got me teary eyed

Bloody tennis seems like someone tried to make a serious version of balls of fury

17:20 The Weight 🔥. That director will direct sicario 3

Thanks Cody for setting my expectations for resident evil to the point where I enjoyed the back half almost as much as the first haha. I see what you mean about it though and there were things about it namely the very end that didn’t quite work fully for me but I still had a great time with if

Hey Cody could you make a video for your October Halloween watchlist?
