You have such wonderful tips.I really appreciate those. Although i'm also over sixty and my motto is I don't care what anybody else thinks, wear what I want, wear what i'm comfortable in.

I am in Canada. My skorts are actually short skirts with thin shorts underneath which I wear around the house but are great for stepping outside and doing a bit of gardening. I can bend over without worrying about exposing my underwear.

@PennyBlanche 6 months ago

Sorry, I had the same shirt you are wearing in the 70’s. It is very old lady looking, colour is good and that’s it, agree about the skorts 🤣

@christinepearson1455 6 months ago

I don’t wear shorts at all…nothing over the knee at all. The only time is with black tights, in cold weather/winter. My legs just aren’t good enough to be seen in public. Even on holiday abroad. I see many people ( men and women) who shouldn’t be wearing shorts either! But that’s up to them., I suppose.

I love cutsie stuff and don't care what others think. Iregular choice are my favourite for bags and shoes. And i love kittens.

Many years ago i found skorts that were knee length and loved them. Now summer wear consists of skirts, dresses, and some ankle length linen blend trousers. I am short, with short legs, and prefer the lengthening effect of midi and maxi length skirts and dresses. Trends come and go, so I prefer to wear what suits me. Thanks for sharing your tips.

@coastalfarmhouse1820 6 months ago

They do make skorts where the shorts are hidden and the skirt length hits just above the knee. They are quite appropriate for older ladies.

I love how you tell it like it is!

I have Loo roll Lil, got her during the lockdowns due to the toilet roll thing at the time, made people laugh

Wear what makes you happy!

Where I live, I rarely see wide leg pants! Skinny and straight are still VERY common. I still see them in current catalogs.

@noelinetaylor186 6 months ago

Love, love love wide-leg trousers. Very flattering for me.

@gerri49 6 months ago

The truth is, though, some women can get away with wearing all sorts of things.And they look fantastic me, on the other hand I'd look like an idiot, no matter how old I was. But there's no doubt some things just don't kind of fit as you get older.But at the end of the day, people should wear what they want.

@33Jenesis 6 months ago

Skort is ok as long as it is longer in length and looks like skirt (shorts hidden). But I’d rather wear long pants or jeans to not be mosquitoes’ blood donor.

@susanjackson6972 6 months ago

I love a tan suede bag in the summer as well 😊

@carolineg3079 6 months ago

Agree with all your comments
Especially the long nails - they honestly make me feel slightly queasy. When I meet someone with 'mega' nails I avoid looking at their hands!!

@Fendywey 6 months ago

I have several M&S slash neck T-shirts from a couple of years ago which I love. Unfortunately they don't sell that style anymore, but the Boden boatnecks look like a great alternative. Thank-you so much!
