Can you spot the styling mistake before I point it out? In this video, I’m showing you 7 styling mistakes (and a bonus) that can make an outfit look slightly wrong, frumpy or unbalanced — even when you can’t immediately see why.
We’ll look at proportions, hemlines, accessories, shoe shape, texture, colour and print mixing. For each one, I’ll show you the problem, explain what your eye is seeing and demonstrate the simple change that fixes it.
The point is not to memorise more fashion rules. It is to train your style eye so that you can look at your own outfit and know exactly what isn’t working — and what to change.
And remember: your body is not the mistake. The line, proportion or styling choice may be.
