Trans4mers: Age Of Extinction - Caravan Of Garbage

Mr Sunday Movies

It's a brand new dawn for the Transformers series. Michael Bay has returned for a soft reboot/sequel in Transformers: Age Of Extinction. This movie is full of new characters and locals in a sweeping attempt to introduce a new hero in Mark Wahlberg Cade Yeager. An inventor and lunatic on a futile journey to help Optimus Prime and the Autobots whilst protecting his daughters...honesty. It's a big loud dumb nightmare disaster of a movie. But Dinobots ya know? Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review.

This movie was actually almost called " Transformers: Age of Consent ".

Fun fact: Cade Yaeger is actually a football that transforms into a human.

@chrissullivan6572 6 years ago

The only thing that could've made Cade Yeager more American is if he had failed football career.

You naive Australians clearly don’t know that legally there must be a dozen hidden footballs in every American building

The first mistake this movie did was trying to convince me that Mark Walbergh was an inventor.

I’m not saying Michael Bay included a scene trying to justify sex between an adult and a minor because he’s trying to justify his own previous actions, but....

My favorite bit is when Ned’s on the bus and he says “We’re all gonna die,” a callback to rattrap’s iconic line from the animated series

“WHY ARE WE DOING THESE?!?”

Spoken like a broken man deeply disturbed by his own actions

I can't believe they didn't mention that this isn't even the daughter's worst movie: she's Katara in The Last Airbender.

One thing I am shocked that they don't mention is Cade Yeager showing his daughter a picture of him holding her as a baby and saything "That is me holding you after graduation". It is supposed to be him as 18 but it is literally just modern Cade Yeager in a backwards hat.

I said it last week and i'll say it again, this is easily the best way to consume these movies

I like to imagine the geologist is a figment of Stanley Tucci's imagination. Makes it funnier.

Does Optimus being able to fly mean Jetfire sacrificed himself for nothing?

@brettbynes2286 3 years ago

Fun/sad fact: when Optimus first transforms, with headphones you can hear him grumble "no Sam, run" (the subtitles said it too) which is telling me that Sam was killed. 😭 Why didn't Bay just show what happened to him, or explain? Bay takes a complete left turn with this movie and introduces a new character worse and less likeable than Sam, doesn't explain what happened to him, and expects us to just roll with it. Ugh.

An anagram of "Michael Bay Transformers" is "Hmm, noisy, blaster car-fare."
This, coincidentally, is also a review of any of them. Bless you for sticking with these.

ABOUT THAT SCENE: The age of consent in Texas is 17. So not only is the scene stupid and super creepy, it's also completely pointless. Good job, Bay.

This happens a lot because the age of consent is 18 in California, and filmmakers tend to assume it's the same everywhere in the U.S.
