In America, we have air-conditioning at our indoor shooting ranges.
In Europe they don’t have air-conditioning in their hospitals.

The high cost of AC in Europe is not because the technology is expensive. The vast majority of the cost is needless regulations and overblown taxation. Nicks' point is that machine and tech itself is very cheap and the reasons against it are stupid and self-inflicted.

We'll keep our Fahrenheit, You can keep your Window Cheese.

And the chubby electron guy has obtained another Vtuber

American AC installation cost: Open Window; remove $200 window unit from box; Place window unit into window; Close window on unit; plug in unit; turn on. Costs of regulation people don't think about. Hope you folks can take back your country from the bureaucrats.

30 Celcius is the cooler end of summer for us Americans

Fact: the EU has more heat-related deaths than the US has gun-related deaths annually

Fahrenheit is used in United States, Liberia, The Cayman Islands, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, the Bahamas, and Belize.

Fahrenheit is based on human body temperature . 100 was human core temperature. (with modern measuring equipment its like 98.6) and 0 was essentially freezing arctic sea water AKA the coldest thing you could expect to run into on the planet for the most part.

Its literally based off of human survivability.

No he is NOT wrong... he is talking about a windows unit... no drilling needed at all
No permits needed ... and you can take it with you when you move.

Giving birth in 98 degrees is war crimes, I want charges on the entirety of Europe’s government

£4000 for a installation? I paid $100 for a unit then installed it myself

His point about AC window units being cheap is kinda missed a lot I think. He isn't saying that it would be that cheap to get them in Europe. He knows those are American prices. The point was more about, why is it so much more prohibitivly expensive in Europe when it is so, relatively cheap here? Again, he is talking about a window AC unit, like the one in the picture, or, like what you have, the standing unit with a hose that is connected to the window. So he isn't talking about permits, he isn't talking about changing the structure of a leased property. He is criticizing the fact that smaller simpler solutions are walled off by cost, and wonder why that cost is made so significant by people who control trade and infrastructure policies. That said, you are 100% correct, it is insane on the point of malicious that German hospitals don't really have air conditioning. I was horrified when I learned that doctors were lucky to get an operating room in hospitals that put AC in the operating rooms....like, almost miracle lucky.

Why does the argument for Celsius being better than  Fahrenheit always revert to either popularity contest(“the whole world except you guys”), or name calling(sarcastically “yeah lets not bother doing something that is hard where you have to think”) implying that the other side is dumb.

Also, just to make a point about "American Gun Violence" stats:  BECAUSE of political agendas, "America's gun violence" numbers ALSO include (Roughly 65% of yearly figures) SELF INFLICTED (Yes, suicides) LAW ENFORCEMENT (Roughly 15%) related situations and ACCIDENTAL discharges (Another 5%).  So, take (ANY YEAR YOU WANT) remove nearly 85% due to suicide, law enforcement related and accidents, and you realize that those "yearly numbers" are basically 15% CRIME RELATED.  Which, when you remove political agenda stat-keeping, you realize just how SMALL that number should be in a country of nearly 330-350 MILLION.

It should be cheap. Unfortunately, government regulations have made it expensive in many places.

There is no excuse to avoid AC, especially in places like hospitals where they can quite literally save hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives.

Freedom Units is the clearly superior way to measure temperature.

and i am SHOCKED learning that hospitals dont have air conditioning ....bacteria and infection thrive in hot/humid environments....shame on you

Why is it so expensive in Europe? He is not wrong because your first response answers why, the government policies have suppressed the supply and inflated the cost with bureaucracy.

In most of the US, an apartment with a broken AC is considered a life threatening emergency. As a seasoned medic, I can assure you that isn't excessive.

Yes your laws are set by hypocrites who are sitting in air conditioning. That's pretty much the resting state for any politician.
