5:58 “the safest place to start” my brother in Christ, look at the 4th photo 🤣

"I know what you are"

Precisely why references are soooo important folks!!!
It's not cheating to use them, it's nearly impossible to do everything by winging it and having it look good. ESPECIALLY if it's something you're new at!

Laughing at the insinuation that googling "furry bunny" is carries a level of danger that isn't already met by googling Judy Hopps

Fun fact: there are three types of animal legs; digitigrade, plantigrade, and unguligrade. The former walks/stands on the toes like a dog whereas the latter two does it on the sole like rabbits and we humans do

HI creator of the second model thanks for fixing my model and the furry jokes were funny

wow you carried away with warcraft character and literally finished it. Nice

6:02 Wow that Judy hopps Vibrant Poster from Etsy its so Inspirational!

fine youtube, i'll watch it

6:14 As someone who's trying to improve into drawing furries, what helped me the most was getting 3 kinds of references:
1.Real photos of the animal i want to draw (head, body proportions, fur, paws or hooves) I also use this step to focus on the shape of the head of the animal to draw them better.
2. Cartoon drawings of that animal (let it be a realistic drawing simplified or a disney character like Judy)
3. Other furry drawings to see how people interpreted different features of that animal. This goes from independent furry artists to beastars.

I know i'm talking about illustrations, but this is also helpful to 3d modeling like we just saw.

My first original character is literally a subdivided cylinder

Hi!!!,creator of the first model, thanks for fixing my model, really appreciate your work.

I just wanted to say that, honestly the legs on the 2nd model were fine In terms of being plantigrade, not everybodies ocs are digitigrade, it's purely a choice thing.

These videos are so high quality because you’ve taken the time to 1. Focus the video to the exact issue that needs to be fixed and 2. Make sure you’re not just repeating what you’ve stated in past videos. Theres always something new to learn

I love how even with the hare model you provide extremely sound and solid advice, and are very positive with educating. This is a definite sub from me. You're awesome, dude.

14:00 heck I’ve never even used Blender. I just got this recommended by the algorithm! Very cool though!

Judy hopps

5:36 I think you are subdividing hares here

I really prefer working with low poly models because they are SO much easier to texture, with high poly you have to get every shape right, then every uv right, and then detail the textures properly too, AND its harder to rig cleanly, but lowpoly has literally none of these issues while also being flatter surfaces to draw onto and really let the textures shine

Knowing the intention was to use the smirk addon for the hare character, I probably would have have made the face a bit flatter, probably closer to a Judy Hopps or Bugs Bunny face. A realistic muzzle would look really weird without any jaw movement, so I don't see the carve method working out well
