14:00 bro just summarize the entire tiktok community

…Sam why is the skull of your enemy the skull of a child

1:41 got to love big tik tok creator giving shoutout to small creator 😔👌

I've successfully forgotten how to draw a head after watchin these tiktok tutorials 🥀

2:36  literally ball knowledge

0:39 do you have any unresolved trauma you wish to resolve or are we staying mysteriously whimsical

the reason the super good tuts have no likes is because the artists typically dont have a style that is good for traction. for example, the last one; he has stunning art, but most people dont want to draw like that so theyll ignore those tuts. but the alien baby tut comes from a very popular and liked 'jelly art' style, which makes people much more inclined to watch/listen to it because it's stylized and many people, esp teens, wanna stylize their art

Uncle Sam has came back. I hope he doesn't start his villain arc any soon.

Tbh, I always tell people who are looking for art advice and criticism on TikTok this: if the person giving you advice has little to no videos of their own about their actual art—whether it be their process, just showcasing their art, or talking about techniques or tricks they use—it’s best to take it with a grain of salt. I’m not saying ignore them entirely, but it’s better to ask people who, based on their page, look like they actually take art seriously and have a love for the craft instead of just making memes and “relatable” videos all day. I’m not saying these meme artists don’t love art themselves, but when it comes to improving, ask people who center their social media presence around the craft rather than just memes. Usually they know best.

When the first tutorial said the word "box" I winced like a child in an abusive household who knew dad was going to crash out

7:45 i feel called out because i draw my characters mouths and nose way to down they never have chins😭 i think it looks cute idk😭✌️

Makes me crazy to see new artists using the pencil like an engraving too. Ease up already! Lighter lines in the beginning means you won't damage you drawing surface with indentations, and you'll have an easier time erasing structural lines later.

6:51 the tutorial is not human bro 😭💔

Those tutorials be like "A lot of people keep asking me..." — literally no one has ever asked

The bitterest irony of these videos is that you can only do "sloppy sketches" if you ALREADY know how to draw well. As a beginner artist, when you try to quickly and sloppily draw people from life, you're not drawing what you see; you're drawing a blurry blob, and you learn nothing, only getting frustrated :(
