Natural unglazed clay terracotta pots/jugs with a sealed cover. Sandpaper inside & out! Wash & gravity feed into clean container 5 times to clean! You then have filtered water than you only need boil out viruses. This is how I lived 35yrs ago in the rural Kenya! Every 4 mnths re-sandpaper, purge & start filtering!

A video on how to find the best sources would definitely be a good call!

Sawyer does missionary work in Africa in central America and the water they treat with their filters would make you triple take on what they can and can't do...they have changed entire communities

From the old guy in Florida, you did good with this one, you do good with all of them but this one was the one that’s missing from all the other proper videos I’ve seen on both side sides. Be well be safe be careful.

Morning, your videos are great. You seem to achieve the tricky balance of informing, empowering with out freaking me out. Engaging, sensible, love it. So thank you.

I'm a nomad and carry a sawyer squeeze and aquatabs and always boil all water and i've never had issue in all my travels 👌

I've been filtering and boiling all my water for two years now, also I store a couple of bottles in the fridge

That was a very good explanation of the choices, nice one Charlie.

Filter water with cloth and a coffee filter stuffed into a tube let gravity do the job, then Chlorine dioxide and boil. simple and cheap. You can make a purification kit into an Altoids tin and make briquettes indefinitely from bio waste.

Charlie I've been watching your videos since you were on like 5k subs, and I think this is your best video in terms of quality informative content one couldn't find anywhere else. I've researched alot about water, but learnt more here than I've researched 😅

Not sure if its because I'm used to your content or your way of speaking! Bravo g

I have used my MSR Guardian and pulled water out of places I wouldn't want my worst enemy to drink from and it tasted better than tap water

People suggesting terracotta for filtering ~~be careful~~ a lot of modern terracotta you get at places like garden centres contains lead and other nasties you don't want in your body. If you're going to do this set up,you can buy lead free terracotta, from Italy for sure, but l don't know where otherwise. Do your research 😊
