For this video, I wanted to cover the entire mainline series including The Ancient Gods expansions so we could properly analyse every single piece of content developed by ID Software.

It's weird how the last time I played DOOM 2 was before this guy was born.

doom 2016 is a cakewalk until you play in nightmare, mostly because of pinkies and imps

@zippo71111 11 months ago

What difficulties are these based on ,UV or nightmare? The classics on nightmare are a completely different experience from UV and the same goes for UN difficulty on the newer titles.

Just got Doom Eternal… I do suck at aiming but as I progress I noticed I’m getting better with each level

@MrCleverOnion 6 months ago

This is obviously the perspective of someone who doesn't play on nightmare difficulty

The Ancient Gods Part 1 is beyond hell, specially the final boss

2:26 Doom 1/Ultimate Doom also give the BFG 9000

4:40 there's no inventory in Doom 3

You don’t know pain until you try dark ages on max speed in rippatorium mode.

Tell me you didn't play Doom3 without telling me you didn't play Doom 3
Mentions Inventory management

that first doom 2 clip with all those invincibility spheres triggered me hard

Do you want to see Hell? Doom TDA with MAX sliders is beyond ANYTHING Doom Eternal has to offer when it comes to difficulty. Speedrunners have admitted that the Doom TDA max sliders difficulty is the hardest difficulty in any Doom by FAR

Ahzrak’s boss fight was one of the most exhilarating moments I’ve ever had playing a video game. Shit was tough as FUCK for me. My sliders weren’t maxed but they were definitely over the default.

You missed plutonia, SIGIL, SIGIL2, and Legacy of rust.

Great video as always!

frogot to talk about sigil 1 and 2 for doom 1, no rest for the living, final doom, legacy of rust and the master level for doom ii for doom 2, the lost level for doom 64, the lost mission and resurrection of evil for doom 3

TAG1 difficulty is only matched by pre-patch Wolfenstein New Colossus for me. Easily the most shockingly hard fps games that I played since the early 2000s

I enjoyed playing through DOOM 3 but I either walked around in circles or got ambushed and almost died, but I have died on my first playthrough so that's definitely something

@DietrichHeckman 2 weeks ago

I played on Hurt me Plenty on Doom the Dark Ages and didn’t die once, close calls, but I never needed to use a sigil

DOOM 16 was so freaking epic when it came out. Love that game. Haven’t played since Eternals base game. Don’t get to game much anymore but finally decided to give dark ages a go last weekend. Feels good to be back!
