London England isn’t Waterford Ireland

London isn't where you located it. 😉

If Rockstar were to create São Paulo in a game similar to GTA, it would be called São Pedro.

They should’ve called it GTA Waterford then

honalulu, boston, detroit and new orleans are a good shout for future GTA games ^^ oh and hopefully one day they can take the series to a fictional version of rio de janiero brazil :D

everyone forgets about Thrasher: Skate and Destroy. beyond that, you've gained a sub.

I remember that in Vice City, they mentioned the state being Florida, then they rename it in Grand Theft Auto VI

"We will be in Tahiti in no time, if you just follow my plan"

The original Watch Dogs*—a direct competitor to *GTA*—already covered Chicago; unless Rockstar wants to improve upon that, many think *GTA might be coming to an end because the cycle has come full circle.

I wonder where Midnight Club LA is set

I think it’s going to be at least 2 decades before GTA 7 comes out so it’ll likely either be San Andreas again or another state entirely. Personally I think the next GTA after 6 will either be based in Liberty City again but this time will be the whole state of Liberty (New York) which will include the Mountains a mock up city to resemble Buffalo, another for Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and even their connection to the Great Lakes with also a mock up New Jersey that you can drive in as well. The next most likely option I see is San Andreas again but it’s the entire state this time with both south and north San Andreas being part of the game with the two cities of Los santos to the far south and San Fiero to the far north. The 3rd most likely option… Texas. The fourth most likely option (this one’s going to be incredibly dark so buckle up) we go to Carcer city, it’s in a Midwest state and the whole state is mocked up like the previous two gta games so it’s got Farmland, mountains, and multiple big cities. But now they have to figure out where Carcer city really is; is it Chicago? Cleveland? Detroit? Time will tell and it sounds like we won’t be finding out any time soon.

Anywhere city - unknown location. Cottonmouth - New Orlean. Cayo Perico is also located somewhere in the Caribbean, in Columbia.

there's little arizona part in SA.

Imagine GTA Australia

BRAH Rockstar just make GTA 7 in Australia honestly 😂

Manhunt is also a rock star game ya know

I can’t believe you too I was actually in vice city

Looking at that são Paulo, I just think they went to Rio because I never saw a favela like that in são Paulo, i think they are very different and also the plants look so tropical-amazonian
God i really wish 007 do it at least better, that city looks like if Rio and Manaus had a kid

Leonida isn't entirely based on Florida because of the mountains up north. So it's most likely based on Florida (90%) and Georgia and other Southern States (10%). Rockstar often like to mix two different locations/regions and blend them together into one.

Carcer City is Chicago and Lemoyne is Lousiana New Austin is New Mexico
