Smart person reacting to smart protagonist running from smart entity

This ARG is based of a book named the king in yellow. It is said that if you took a glance at the king, he'll bestow you infinite knowledge of the past, present, and future. No human being can handle all that knowledge, it'll make you go insane. D3rlord3 essentially tanked it for 15 seconds. He basically tanked gojo's infinite void 2 times. Cuz he edited the raw footage to censor the king in yellow so we wouldn't get effected by it. Basically light yagami VS L

Two fun facts about the book D3rLord3 wrote
1.Throughout the video when ever he Misspelt he would delete back until he fixed the spelling mistake and at the end in the book there were a lot of spelling mistakes.
2. On Pages 2 and 3 in the book he wrote "At the Crossroad Don't Turn Left" Seven Times and each time in the video whenever he encounter a crossroad he Turned Left and guess how many times he encountered a crossroad.(7)
and a bonus i Personally noticed, the first time he was using the hopper the mats were [Wood, Glass, Wood, Terracotta, Dirt] and the second time he looked in the hopper it's [Wood, Wood, Glass, Terracotta, Dirt,] almost like the entity moved the mats back into the hopper.

first person ive watched that called out the dirt block for the trap!! good stuff :))

The King in Yellow is one of the most highly underrated additions to the Lovecraft mythos that almost nobody who claims to be "into" the mythos remembers during discussions. To have Wifies come out with some top-notch content like this about it was a gift from beyond. Its basically the modern version of what Lovecraft and the rest of his writer friends did for a living: write and publish pulp fiction stories for the purpose of entertaining a large audience. I think Howard and Robert would be proud to see what their creations have become.

41:19 A great detail being that after he saw the king: coal ores, diorite, granite, etc all came back and he came out of the same tunnel he first entered from. which WASNT the tunnel he entered from. The king flooded his mind with knowledge on a catastrophic brain damaging level and just sent him back. As if the overworld and the world where the entity lived were two different things.

This ARG is engrossing as fuck

"Holy... world edit"
There's no more perfect way to say it than this

the story to these are amazing there’s no jump scare just pure horror the wording is also brilliant the way he explains the story about others simplified

This one is by far my favorite one, ive watched it, like, 4 times. Im obsessed with horror/ARG, especially ones like these
I havent heard of The King In Yellow before I dug deeper and read comments, and wow is it terrifying. Subtle horror for the winnnnn

This is a reference to The King in Yellow

Also the reason why D3RLORD3 had their name censored for most of the video was because it would give it away to easy. Because der means the in German and Lorde is a term used to describe someone who is of royalty such as a king, and the reason why he has 3 in his name is because it is for the 3rd colour of the rainbow which is yellow.

AOL RPUN PU FLSSVD

There’s no way you predicted the grass block man….. On my first time I noticed it too but never understood why he did it.

I don’t think we should turn left at the crossroads 🧐

Btw, the cipher stack translates to: “Along the shore”. This may be a reference to the following verse from the King in Yellow, which was a key inspiration for this video: “Along the shore the cloud waves break, the twin suns sink behind the lake, the shadows lengthen in Carcosa.”

You should definitely react to another ARG :)

If anyone is wondering, the song in the video is named home again by Park Lane

i know the king in yellow was mad as fuck after cipher stacking and watching 50 mumbo jumbo redstone tutorials just for d3rlord3 to solve the code in 17 mins and then break the wall with a pickaxe anyway💀
also, a few reaction suggestions since minecraft args are so peak:

"how a minecraft theory drove him insane" by render
"this minecraft alpha channel only livestreams" by zachobuilds (it's a two parter)
"what happened to xtremegamer11?" by wifies
"finding a player who doesn't exist" by wifies

This is one of my favorite Minecraft ARG videos since it's based on HP Lovecraft's take on King in Yellow in Lovecraft's extended mythos the King in Yellow is an aspect of Hastur an old one I think

The original book is "King in Yellow" is by Robert W Chambers

My favorite quote from the original book is "I pray God will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in its truth—a world which now trembles before the King in Yellow" It's not known what the character learns since it's left purposely ambiguous

What is known is that the knowledge given to the character is "simple in nature but irresistibly terrifying"

You can tell this video takes inspiration from both Lovecraft and Chambers because in Lovecraft's books even a glimpse of an eldritch being "gives you immense knowledge of everything" which the original book in Robert W Chambers' King in Yellow doesn't do because its knowledge is simple

I really love your reaction, this was the one of many reactions I've watched but yours is different, you noticed that grass block, I'm amazed by how observant you are because I was distracted by the fact that someone is following him, even my older brothers haven't noticed that grass block, and your react brought a whole new refreshment to me, it's really different from others.

Keep reacting to others!, and i guess ill have to sub as a support.

The king in yellow

might be the first someones called out the grass, nice commentary lol
yeppp

just want to appreciate how much of a fresh breath of a reaction this is compared to a lot of what ive seen regarding this arg, not that im trying to trash talk on other people's reaction videos but your commentary and how attentive you are to details (ESPECIALLY the grass block like holy shit, i think you're the first person who's noticed that before it was revealed properly) is just so nice to see when most doesnt really say anything that interesting other than the basics or straight up just seems like they're faking it not to mention your humor in general, its a good mix between being casual and someone who knows ball

good shit, subscribing and will definitely be watching your reaction to 'finding a player who doesnt exist' the next time i get my food

I'm watched 6 different people react to this video already. I'm just looking for some new perspectives atp. I've never seen this channel before but this video found me so I'd say uploading this was a good idea.
