Mississippi: Kicking off amid New Orleans’s Mardi Gras revelry, Stephen investigates Katrina’s devastation, meets Morgan Freeman in the Delta, tours Buddy Guy’s Chicago roots, and follows the Mississippi River to its source, learning fishing techniques from Hmong refugees.

British polymath Stephen Fry embarks on a six-part odyssey across all 50 U.S. states, exploring America’s soul with curiosity and humor. From New England’s colonial echoes and a candid interview with Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales in D.C., to bluegrass jams in Tennessee and Mardi Gras chaos in New Orleans, Fry dives into coal mines, bison ranches, wolves, and underground missile-base homes, uncovering the nation’s diverse cultures, natural wonders, and quirky characters.
