I don't think anything will ever beat his "Prince Charles and Princess Diana showing up for tea on New Years day" story

Stephen Fry replied to me on Twitter with a brilliant answer. I told him that I had a dream that he served me breakfast dressed as Zippy from Rainbow, and he replied, "No, that really happened..."

Stephen is a master at storytelling! Although he crashed Elton John's unfinished story but Elton was too polite to tell him off 😂

I'd go to church if Stephen did the services. I knew a pastor who didn't really talk too much about "the whole Jesus stuff", but more about ethics and how to be a good human and member of a community/society. Very inspirational. He had the congregation in stitches on the regular, too.

When Stephen Fry speaks, an angel gets its degree

The way the audience reacted when he mentioned Princess Diana

Stephen Fry is brilliant. Such a terrific story-teller!

Stephen Fry is a national institution.
When younger he suffered badly with imsonia so he read as many books as possible, which is why he is a clever and very knowledgeable as he is.
It's a shame you didn't include the story he was telling when Nicole kidman was there, and she was in awe of his genius!

What I like is that apparently Stephen Fry can tell his friends out of the blue that prince of Wales is coming for tea this afternoon, and they just accept it as a fact.

They way Stephen mentions Princess Diana, the crowd reacts beautifully.

Man Stephen Fry with glasses looks a lot like Elton John, crazy how one accessory can change a look like that.

He's a national treasure. At 9:52 he says, "... like Rik of The Young Ones. Only recently did I re-watch an episode (Bambi?) of that show from the early 80's in which Fry, Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson guest star as rich kids. I think Fry plays Lord Snot.

I could listen to Stephen Fry all day. I love the Harry Potter audiobooks because of this man.

It's a privilege to share the planet with Stephen Fry, let alone the same country. A national treasure.

His Harry Potter audiobook work was just one big "best moment." Masterpiece.

I absolutely love Stephen Fry..he is truly a treasure….living in America I just found his series Kingdom…I don’t know how old it is, having not looked it up, his character was so wonderful….and those in the show with him, so quirky….

Even the mighty Elton John is quite happy to defer to Stephen Fry, the master of the chat show anecdote.

I would marry Stephen Fry in a heartbeat. Not that he’d have me, but still. What an amazing human.

I love how he got the household together and told them Prince Charles is coming over - and no-one questioned it because of course he would be!

I remember meeting my careers' advisor at school and her asking me what I wanted to with my life, to which I tentatively asked back something like: 'How about studying theology?' which slightly baffled my parents because they knew I was an atheist, but it was the Latin, Greek and religious studies which interested me.
