So glad this stuff is recorded for future generations.  What a resource in service to history and the men who fought!

I love listening to Doug talk, very informative.

Very interesting, Col. Douds is one of the best.

Great episode of a highly underrated topic. I think by explaining things the way he did, Doug actually answers a lot of the “why” questions regarding some of the events of this battle. I aspire to be as smart as a guide as you and Doug one day!!!

A great episode, and an genuinely interesting topic. I enjoyed listening to Col. Douds get into more detail of the differences in the command staffs. Thanks to Jim and Col. Douds!

Fantastic conversation. Men like Doug are gifted and burdened by such a broad array of perspectives— direct experience, deep historical guidance and a genuine passion to understand and inform. In short, he embodies not only the best of the human spirit, but of the American spirit. The real deal here.

And then of course that fascinating tragedy of our civil war in general and the lessons of Gettysburg in particular… One just can’t fully know our country without understanding the various arcs of this moment in our time.

Thank you both for this gift of shared insights:)

Great discussion!  Staff work is often overlooked and this discussion does a great job of giving staff officers in this battle their due.

Brilliant discussion and looking forward to your book, Colonel

That was excellent. I learned so much about leadership and staff level support for a leader that I can translate that into my project management work thank you so much.

This was one of my favorite discussions to date.  I might have listened to it about 10 times and learned something new each time.  It should be required listening for anyone trying to understand leadership and how it applies to the Battle of Gettysburg

This was awesome. Maybe just a special 1 week only with Doud on Vicksburg next

Fascinating to learn about the logistical chess game going on behind the scenes. Thank you!

Excellent presentation. It definitely highlighted an important and interesting area of battle history I had not thought about. I look forward to a more in depth look whenever the book comes out.

Terrific topic and conversation 👏

Nice job everyone, really enjoy the podcast

Excellent episode!

Interesting conversation!

Really enjoyed the episode.

Love this! Thanks guys!!

Yet another great episode. Now knowing that YouTube is where it's at for BOGP, I might just buy into a YouTube plan for no ads, so I can listen while driving. ;) The move from general podcasting to video won't stop me from listening to my favorite podcast.
To Col. Douds- Sir, I would certainly buy your book. Semper Fi, Sir.
