Welcome to Bloody Good, a channel where we dissect our favourite horror films, looking for hidden gems and films so bad we have to share them with you.
Today on From the Page to the Screen, Emily takes a look at Stephen King’s Carrie and compares it to three of its film adaptations, from 1976, 2002 and 2013.
Carrie follows a young girl with telekinetic abilities who is treated like an outcast. In the week leading up to prom, Carrie discovers just how powerful she really is, and after a traumatising experience at prom, her whole town will suffer for the lifetime of bullying they put her through.

Carrie actually RUNS OUT crying as people laugh at her and her peers think they were successful. Carrie then decides to lock them inside with her powers and then proceeds to burn and destroy them GLEEFULLY. She then goes home destroying parts of the town. Not just a couple cars. She tears up the place.
