Possibly an unpopular take: I have literally no problem with Ray.

Well, besides being a criminal. Outside of that he was upfront, always paid up (and fairly well, despite Niko's claims) and kept his word to Niko in the end.

There was no rat, but if I HAD to pick one, I'd have chosen Phil before Ray, but neither have much, if any evidence.

The diamond deal fell apart, yeah, but was that really Ray's fault? Underlings stole from him and the deal was interrupted by a relatively unknown factor in Luis.

In regards to Johnny... I like Johnny, but he bit Ray first, in that world Ray is entirely within his rights to respond.

Hot take: Ray is pretty likeable!

i never liked that niko killed ray, Ray actually helped niko find Florian and gave him a house in alderney when working with the pegorinos. Johnny should have killed him for Jim.

Ray's quality is that he was a suck-up to a boss that he knew was not respected enough to be boss. And he knew how much of a joke the Pegorinos were, but he couldn't do anything about it because he was loyal, but he definitely did have his eye on the position for Don. Hence why he was hedging all of his bets on the diamond deal.

Ray is 32? That is Grease teenagers levels of 32, he looks like he is 32 years removed from college

I feel like Ray would have made a good boss, a better boss than Jimmy anyway. Obviously he’s a mobster so you can’t trust him one bit, but he was smart and he was a good earner. Peg knew that Ray was coming for his spot, that’s why he had him taken out

Ray didn’t betray anyone but everyone end up betraying him that’s why Niko is creeped out when calling Roman after ending his life, he didn’t like him but he knew he didn’t deserved it (he kept his end of the bargain giving the location of Florian)

Family?

I TOLD YOU, THEY'RE A GLORIFIED CREW!

Ray coulda prospered under a different family he has the qualities of a great captain it’s just that with Pegorino being such a crap boss there was way too much responsibility placed on just one guy

I don't think I can express my love for these videos

Crazy how Ray is only 32. Just based on the character model I would have assumed at least 37-45

I'LL SEE YOU LATER

In a scenario where Ray lives and the Pegorinos get wiped out, he probably takes over all the rackets in Alderney and moves to another family (probably the Gambettis as a captain if Niko felt like repaying Ray for Florian.)

RAY雖然是個貪婪的渾蛋 但是他至少每次任務都有給錢 也沒陷害過NIKO 而且還信守承諾 幫NIKO找到了Florian的下落呢

i hate how nico become so cold to ray even ray help and take care of niko
- find florian cravic
- look after roman
- give niko safehouse
- trust niko with diamond accident
and niko keep saying ray is rat

Alderney is meant to be New Jersey

I had no idea he was meant to be 32, he comes across as way older, similar in age to Phil.

I never understood why Niko hated Ray so much but seemed to like Phill. Like seriously what was the difference?

Looking back at it during the game it always seemed like Phil was either paranoid or disloyal but in reality he was the smart one who really understood that none of this was gonna work out

Just remember, he WILL see you later. That's a threat.
