As an actual solo broke parent, this dude always drove me nuts. I couldn’t put my finger on it but something about it seemed phony. It’s always ridiculously annoying to watch someone make money off a situation that isn’t true when any crowdfunding I do barely gets viewed; i am grateful for everyone who has helped me and my son in the past, don’t get me wrong!! But watching this dude exploit the already low standards people set for fathers and then making people think he’s this suuuuper hardworking, poor dad is a little maddening.

Let me just make something clear: a SOLO PARENT is someone whose partner is dead, incapacitated, incarcerated, or deployed. Basically, they're truly alone, many of them without family nearby. Their spouse isn't coming home every night and can't offer any support. He is NOT A SOLO PARENT WHATSOEVER.

This is a slap in the face for all single dads. My dad despite the fact that he is disabled, took care of two kids growing up on his own because someone else couldn't be bothered to.

he CONSTANTLY pulls the "solo and single parenting are different" thing out of his ass. the OOOONLY reason you would use the term "solo parenting" strategically is to deceive people into thinking you're a single parent when you're not. also with the way he talks about her and the fact they work separate shifts, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out he was cheating on his wife. he seems extremely emotionally disconnected from her.

Everything you said in your video is correct but 3:25 here, he used to call himself a single parent/ that he was single parenting, but when people found out that he had a wife and started calling him out, he switched it up to solo parenting
