Frank McAvennie was a great player...from a Rangers supporter

Liam Gallaghers aged a bit.

The Celtic groundstaff went on strike, they didn't want a Flymo 😂

I remember that Wogan show with Denis Law bigging up Frank!

We were speechless . He said mo and salman rushdie are sharing  a pad in Edinburgh  .both were hated 😅

I remember the wogan show there’s a documentary on utube it’s called how to score with frank or something similar

When Souness became player manager of Rangers his first game was away to Hibs at Easter Road. That night he appeared in my friends restaurant in William Street in the West end of Edinburgh the person who was with him was Maurice Johnstone, who had no connection with Rangers or Edinburgh at that time!

I worked with a guy who was related to the wife of wee Mo/ Judas, I remember him telling me he would be back in Scotland because his Mrs wanted to come home, this was around 1988 ?. I said do you think he will be back at Celtic then ?... he said where else is he going to go, Rangers ?.. and we laughed, the guy was also a  Celtic fan. I always said that was one of the reasons he signed for Rangers, he knew they were more likely to be winning the trophies at that time.

Was at a billy connolly gig in dublin that day and 1st thing he said was did u here mo johnson signed for rangers we

My theory is mojo not signing for celtic was the BEST thing that ever happened to celtic.  Hear me out
If hed signed, celtic wouldve won the bate minimum cup JUST enough to keep the whytes and kellys in power.
The way they fumbled that transfer opened up the supports eyes, we knew they werent fit for the hob of looking after celtic and even though it took 4/ 5 years thst day was the day the board dug their grave.
This isnt "cope" this is my theory and though i could be wrong if you look at the whole situation i think its pretty solid

Absolute class guys.

Gotta say my life was pretty difficult back then.. from both sides lol

Maurice Johnson now lives in America apparently I wish him no harm but I can’t imagine him ever coming back to Scotland… despised by everyone !!

Didn't Frank do something similar with Patrick Thistle

Charlie Nicholas would have had to have gave up all his pals at Thompson's Bar in Springburn like Mo had to which was a step he wasn't prepared to take, i never saw Frank in there right enough but Mo, Charlie Nick, Chic Charnley were around a lot Chic Charnley used to show off screech his wheels as he was leaving lol

true story

Because he was offered more money?

Wasnt John Spencer at Rangers and he is a Catholic?

Judas then judas now  never forgiven
Betrayal unimaginable

Where's the birds...com on man❤❤❤

Brilliant for Watford
