The only rangers outside player that my father actually raved about and praised. I grew up in coops era as a kid, there isn't a Celtic supporter that knows about Davie would say anything other than, what a player he was, huge respect bless him 👏👏🙌🍀. The other player was gorham 👏🙌. Both wold class 👍🍀

30 years?????
Ffs where did the time go?
RIP COOP from a celt, you were a special talent . God bless

Even as a young Hibee I could see David Cooper was world class . A joy to watch

Davie Cooper commands respect from everyone no matter what team they support....guy was a genius.

Davie Cooper was a legend

Rudd Gullit actually put Davie Cooper in his all time greatest dream team in midfield alongside Frank Rijkaard, Kaka and Maradona!!

“God gave Davie cooper a talent” he would not be disappointed with how it was used

Walter smith.

Englishman. Davie was blessed with skills. Exceptional player xx

David Cooper was a great player.

As a Celtic supporter I saw Davie Cooper play against us many times and he terrified me, he was so good. Always seemed like a nice guy, I was gutted when he passed away. RIP.

Played the game in 1st gear.
What a talent.
R.I.P, Coop 💙

Great respect for Frank from a Bluenose thru n thru. Just cos there's a player that plays for your greatest rivals,if you're a real fan of football you appreciate great players. To me Paul McStay if had went to Italy or Spain would have fit right in as he had such an amazing football brain. He at times was 2-3 passes ahead of most other players. Respect from a Bear born in Aberdeen but as my dad was from Glasgow and Rangers mad, even through the bleak times of the early 80's, that was my team. Always remember Pittodrie May 1987, great day. Shit-hole of a stadium was full of our fans. Best title win ever!!

I'm 62 and Davie Cooper is still the greatest player I've seen in a Rangers shirt. Sadly he passed away too young. But legends will always live in our memory.

Thank you for everything you ever done for the likes of Davie and Andy Goram.  Life is all about having a laugh and accepting different opinions 💙💚

Thanks Frank that was BEAUTIFUL from a ger loved listening to this and all your other podcasts keep going your doing well 👍
