Where’d our creek go?! Hidden under thick grass, weeds, and small trees, this overgrown creek bed was overdue for a cleanup!
In this episode, we tackle the front ditch and creek area on our 100-acre property. Rod starts trimming around the culvert, then we work through the dense growth with the EGO 56V string trimmer and DR walk-behind trimmer.
Between stubborn brush and trimmer string that keeps jamming, this “son of a ditch” makes us work for the transformation! Watch the before-and-after comparisons to see how much we uncover.
There’s no flowing water right now, but we finally find the bottom of the creek bed. Now we’re waiting for rain to bring the water back. The brush piles are next—once our chipper is fixed!
We’re Tracey and Rod, and this is Nature’s Protégé – 100 Acres – 1 Project at a Time. We’re reclaiming our overgrown property, learning as we go, and sharing the progress and mishaps along the way.
