Now here is a gentleman who truly appreciates college football for what it is. Love what you are diong to showcase one of the rising stars in college football!

I appreciate the comments as a band as a former member! A fun story for you is the origin of the Varsity in the band name was because 2 band members were found changing in the old, old locker rooms. A staffer came in and said they can't change here it is the varsity locker room, the  band members responded with "We are the varsity marching band!" so its been the ISUCF"V"MB ever since! I will put a Jack Trice on game day up against any in the nation.

Thanks for coming to our beloved Ames, Iowa! you really did a great job at showcasing why us cyclones love Ames so much. Its truly a place where if you love it with your whole heart its going to love you back. We love our little pocket of Big12 football. Thank you for coming, we hope you're back again! Go Cyclones!

That large grassy area in between Hilton and Jack Trice is going to be CyTown (bars, restaurants, amphitheater, etc). Come back when its finished in a couple years!

Trust me no one will attack you for saying we haven’t won much😂We know and accept it. No matter the season we’ll still tailgate🫡.

As a diehard Cyclone fan Ive been to a few Hawkeye tailgates. The scene is much different but the passion is still there. We have no Pro teams in the state. The College passion is deep here. In Iowa City its less college town and more town with a college in it, neighborhoods become the tailgating spots all around the stadium, its kind of a cool experience but im biased and I prefer Ames much more. Thank you for visiting Ames! The Cyclone fan base is so passionate and we love seeing newcomers experience our team and home environment!

Glad you experienced why we love our Cyclones and Ames so much.  Basketball games are another awesome experience.

You didn’t even make it to the main campus, which is one of the most beautiful in the country. Thanks for coming to Ames and showcasing how great and special it is!

Even Cyclone away games are awesome.  Dublin, Ireland was other-worldly.  We brought thousands more than Kansas State did and the crowd was electric.

You can't truly understand ISU and Jack Trice without being there.  Kudos for making the effort to see for yourself!

As a Cyclone - please come back and bring others. Always welcome! Loyal - Forever - True.

Appreciate the kind words.  Ames on GameDay is truly a special place.  The hill sections if ur curious r called hillsides and used to be on both ends of the stadium before they bowled in the south endzone.  Have very fond memories of playing pass defense with friends under the south end bleachers as a kid. Love both Jack Trice and Hilton coliseum

Thanks for coming to experience Ames & CyclONEnation! Wish I’d have known you were coming / you’re always welcome to our tailgates!
❤🌪🏈🔥💯

That quietness you experienced during iowas long drive was just the product of years and years of experiencing those soul sucking drives that typically result in an iowa win. Not anymore tho!

Come back and you’re welcome to come to our tailgate. Come early and stay late. Thanks for your review. It’s a fun place to be. We love the games every week. Maybe you can come back and see basketball game.

As an Iowa State fan (and now alumni), thanks for coming to Ames! You took your time and did your research and made sure you captured the all around experience of a gameday, and the CyHawk rivalry as a whole. We're so excited you enjoyed your time at Jack Trice! Also, if you want to come back again (like when CyTown is constructed), you should definitely put it out ahead of time, I'm sure a ton of people would be happy to have you at their tailgate!!

One of my favorite tailgates I've been to was Cy-Hawk in Ames.  As an Iowa fan, I actually like tailgating in Ames better!

Thanks for the visit. There is another 25 acres of tailgating in the grass lots SE of the stadium, and south of the RV park that I don't think you visited. That is where us common folk tailgate.

Tailgating pep band was always one of the best parts of marching band. I'm kind of surprised more universities dont do it. The trade is that the band's call time is usually 5 hours before kickoff

We were happy to have you! I have to say, that’s probably the most stressful football game I’ve ever been to, but the student section was ridiculously electric and it was so fun to watch us beat Iowa

Thank you for taking the time to come to Iowa for this annual rivalry, and share it online! Iowa is the noted team in the state, but since Iowa State got it's current coach the Cyclones have exchanged wins with the Hawkeyes, and last year played in the Big 13 title game. A suggestion I have is to zoom up on big plays more rather than have a distant full-field view. But thanks for the tailgating tour!
