If you glue an opaque pad to an opaque surface:
The Exposed Edges: Any glue squeezed out around the perimeter or directly hit by UV light will cure hard.
The Shadowed Center: The glue under the middle of the pad where light cannot penetrate will stay wet and liquid indefinitely. It does not possess a secondary moisture-cure or anaerobic-cure mechanism to standardly cure in the dark.
The area under the copper pad should be secured by epoxy or CA . Great video!

For the record, UV mask is actually extremely useful (and better suited) for many purposes! It's just weak AF for providing strength to anything haha.
