I had to replace some USB-C ports on my own microcontroller board and I'm a total noob at using hot air, but this video was super helpful! It wasn't as easy as you make it look in this video but in the end I still managed, so thanks!

I would trust you with my ps5's and 4's in a second, that was some seriously fine work. So many do not give the soldering and the liquid metal the true attention it deserves these days. great video, thanks.

For the solder sucker (clone of Engineer SS-02) replacement tips get a length of cheap high temp silicone tube (4mm). Also, please go outside to clean gooch from boards. 😁

Nice repair. :) The missing cap at the HDMI is a 100µF X5R 16V 10% 0201' cap. Maybe the drop method for soldering the HDMI port is worth a look.

Im surprised you didnt use alittle deoxit inside the port after everything on a little mechanic nano sponge. A couple drops of that on those sponges with tweezers inside that hdmi or any port makes it nice

Another great video, I pretty much watched every video on your channel now and I already learned a lot, so thank you very much for that.
I wanted to ask if you could maybe do a similar video on Nintendo Switch USB-C Port repairs or just some "common" switch repairs in general, I can't seem to get some of it right and at this point I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Either way, thank you for the great content!
