Quick note: due to time constraints, I wasn’t quite able to get across my point in the video about Del Toro. He panicked too much when he was first attacking and splitting the group, then was too relaxed expecting other riders to work with him; which was very similar to how he raced stage 20 of the 2025 Giro, where he wanted Carapaz to work with him while Yates was going up the road.

“Go back to racing some mountain bikes!” LOL 😂 Hell yeah!!!

I think it's interesting that with a lack of team radios, the teams with clear leaders failed tactically, whereas team usa, with a team of super domestiques all knew their roles perfectly

I have been waiting for Chris all day long!

Mateo Jorgensen and Quinn Simmons deserve major props.

I was there in person and it was electric!

WVA & MVDP: we attack 98km to go. Brendan McNulty: i attack 35km to go. Michael Matthews: i attack 600m to go!

That last shot of McNulty meeting his wife, surrounded by cameras is outstanding!

"Del Toro is a wise kid. McNulty will break his back for Del Toro in the years to come." 🇺🇸🇲🇽

Mads Pederson in 6th place blew me away....what a ride he must have had to catch up at the end...chapeau 🤠

“Go back to racing some mountain bikes!”   Hilarious!   My coffee just shot out my nose

Congrats to McNulty and team USA, amazing team work.  I was pretty sure the word 'knucklehead' was going to be tossed around generously on this edition and wasn't disappointesd!  I couldn't believe they sat up and didn't close the gap on the final climb.  Just bonkers.  It will be interesting next season to see the rainbow jersey working for Pogi!  That's going to cause some confusion for sure.  Great coverage as usual guys!

McNulty had great result in the men’s time trial. This was overlooked by all the top competitors. He used this ability to conserve his energy and win.

What a great race! I was near the top of the hill, and based on the difference between McNulty's speed and Pidcock's on the last climb, I was sure he was going to get caught. But then 10 seconds later while I could still see him, Pidcock sat up and just a few seconds later Jorgenson marked him. The team work to get this done was amazing. I watched the end on a big screen halfway up the hill, and was amazed McNulty held on. Thanks as always for the analysis.

Everyone is fair game on the Chesterfield Knucklehead HQ 😂. But I loved the Tom Pidcock roast the best.😂

McNulty, delivering a victory that we have been thirsting for!!! 🇺🇸

When I saw MVDP ride his big solo at TDL, I was thinking to myself he's not that serious about the Worlds.
VDP definitely handed the race to someone else with his early attack.
Amazing ride by McNulty, damn.

As happy as I am for McNulty (AZ product- yay!!!), this looks like it was as much a USA team victory. Wonderful job, Team USA!!!

Paul Seixas has NOTHING to apologize for.  He's barely 20 and still learning.

I agree whole heartedly with you about Quinn and Matteo.  The work those two put in was amazing.  The whole team was amazing they stayed out of sight until it was time to move.  Quinn going forward allowed Brandon and Matteo to have an excuse to not pull.

Team France 'performance' had old school Voeckler style written all over it.
