Living on the banks of the Sagae River, I decided to hike halfway around the Asahi mountain range and climb Sagamiyama from the Mimote River. It was bound to be a long journey. However, Sagamiyama was now within sight. Overcoming numerous challenges, I reached Oteidoyama. Sagamiyama was now only 2 hours and 15 minutes away according to the course time. It was safe to say that the countdown to completing the entire route had begun. Seizing the moment when the blazing sun began to fade slightly, I made my final sprint. Surprisingly, my pace, which had been +15 minutes over the 2 hours and 45 minutes course time from Dōrokujinmine to Oteidoyama, suddenly sped up, and shifted to -15 minutes over the 2 hours and 15 minutes course time from Oteidoyama to Sagamiyama. While being careful not to overheat, I far exceeded my goal and touched the Sagamiyama summit triangulation point. It was only just past 8 a.m. In addition, the view of the Asahi main ridge in July from the Niigata Prefecture side was a deeply moving first-time experience. I had set a deadline of 10am to retreat, but...what should I do? I'm getting greedy. Even if I can't reach Kitakankozan, I might be able to see Sagami Pond. Hmm, it's a tough decision. But I mustn't get carried away. I've used up more water and sunscreen than I expected. So, in the video, I've inserted footage of Sagami Ridge to Kitakankozan taken on a clear morning in August 2021. Therefore, this video will also give you a view of the entire Sagami Ridge in summer. It's full of valuable footage, so I confidently recommend that you take a look.

“別物”のトマト、飲水“可”の湧き水、恒例の袋麺の美味しそうなこと…様々な場面から冒険の醍醐味が伝わって参りました。
それにしても三面川の清流の清らかさと言ったら…あのつり橋を是非渡ってみたいものです。
今回も素敵な映像をありがとうございました。
