PoE 3 and tyranny 2. Fingers still crossed 🥹

So stoked for this series! Your videos for PoE 1 were my guiding light through my PoTD run!

Is this my sign to start a new Pillars run?
Awesome video!

Probably the best CRPG channel around. Love the breakdowns. Always helps me see games from different angles and find different ways to experience the stories.

Found your channel through Pillars 1 content when I started playing that. Awesome to see you covering deadfire (which I'm currently still playing!). Looking forward to the rest of the rankings :)

I'm doing Ascendant Cipher and love it.

The thing with barbarians is that they are a good source of dps via action speed boosts via passives and frenzy. And actual damage from additional might in frenzy and raw damage from blood frenzy upgrades. So instantly this can be a huge benefit for any caster multi including tempests (druid).
Now for savages (rangers), the ranger part brings the accuracy, barbs bring the action speed.
Also for SC barbs, dont sleep on driving roar. Apparently some builds use this and its a real killer.

Always love hearing your perspectives on the various classes/builds in the games you cover. Especially because I'm always dealing with choice paralysis.

A timely video series! I just randomly got a bug up my butt to get back to finish PoE1 after almost a decade and I finally finished it! Now I'm wanting to start up Deadfire, but the class choices and multi-class options have me frozen in analysis paralysis!  Appreciate the video and help -- good stuff!

Just finished a PotD/Expert playthrough as a Berserker Brute (Greatsword Devoted), and he had 'by far' the most damage dealt in the party (~460,000) and was insanely durable due to 500 health.  I think they made the right call nerfing carnage; my guy was doing like 300+ damage per swing if there were 4 enemies hit, and I didn't need to go over 10 INT to reach them.

Never fired up and “liked” a video so fast

I've been looking forward to this since finishing your PoE 1 series!

the man the myth the legend is back, so psyched for this series

Looking forward to this series. I really enjoyed the Pillars 1 videos.

Yes! Absolutely loved this game!

Edit: Corpse Eater was one of my favorite subclasses RP wise. Made a wendigo possessed barbarian. Kept him single class for Spirit Tornado. Dude tanked everything and everyone.

Man, PoE was my initation into crpgs. 1st one was a beautiful love letter to (mostly forgotten at the time) genre. 2 built up upon everything one did. I just wish it was a bit longer.

You've earned a sub my man, i love how detailed you are and i can't wait you do all of the classes then i might finally finish this game. I have 300+ hours clocked on steam and never finished this gem coz i always restart. Looking forward for chanter, paladin and cipher those three i want to play/multiclass, keep up the good work!

The music oh the music

This is excellent work!

26:33 note: if you make your ranger melee, you don't have to worry about that, yes melee ranger is viable, wounding shot works with melee attacks, if you're going that route, i highly recommend stalker subclass

Now I have to reinstall and replay! Great series idea!
