Chanter is, by a wide margin, the best take on bards in any RPG ever.

@thefoxoflaurels3437 1 year ago

Greatest implementation of a bard ever imo.

@Spam1192 1 year ago

I like to imagine the chanter is constantly singing sea shanties during combat.

I don't know if that's what the developers intended, but it's my head canon regardless.

@mattlee4618 1 year ago

Ahh Man I see deadfire in the title and a swarm of sea shanties flood my head such a good game

Lol jk, another great video, Slandered! Love your videos man, thanks for all you do for the community.

Crazy that this never came up in my recommended, since I watched the barbarian vid + all of your other pillars content.

Deadfire is one of my favorites. Sunked too many hours in the game, and in the "collectors book" 🙂

This series is awesome and I hope it can steer more people to the wonders that Deadfire brings (and your channel)!

All the best 🤙

Love the content! This is my favorite game to play with builds.
Troubador/Psion is ridiculous and I breezed through Veteran. Brisk Recitation + the Psion passive means you can cast almost non-stop.

I'd say one cool thing about the immunity to dex invocation is that of you play a wood elf or get an item that provides dex resistance, you can always clear dex afflictions on yourself and party members. Helps with the spider world boss because you can remove petrification and if you get the spell shaping passive you can increase the cone range of it.

Last month I made a berserker barb and hellwalker monk with a reach weapon and the interments of pain talent. It was fun to see everything on the screen taking that damage.
