Yes I've lived near there for 30 years. I've bought the material for my daughter's wedding dresses and 12 bridesmaids, been a customer for donkeys years. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Well done you. I'm glad you put it on the map.

Great to see different fabric shops, my mum was more into this, so she used to take me to one in Leicester ( Oadby area) and as i was more into curtain and soft furnishings so used to go to L9w Woods near Shepshed( 4-5 miles off M1 junction 23),they have material from out of London but cheaper prices.
That pink tartan is gorgeous 😍
Gosh, wouldn't have thought you'd have to remove nails for MRI, our son had one on his head last Saturday, bit scary as for over a yr he's had constant heads every day and now last 3 months migraines.

I love Leon’s! I’ve been going there for years. I bought my bridesmaid dress fabric there, countless fabric for curtains etc.

What I always find so interesting about Leon’s is that in such a large Aladdin’s cave , the staff know exactly where every fabric is. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about fabric and sewing.

That was so interesting, I live in Birmingham about 30 mins drive from Barry’s and I’m going to miss that shop so much when it closes. The size, layout and prices are very similar to Leon’s although there is less stock now there’s still plenty and it’s been half price for ages 😀 I’ve never had a fabric stash but I’ve totally been stocking up for when Barry’s closes. £10 metres of assorted fabrics for £25 made it into my bag last time and I wasn’t going to buy anything 😂 I would love to see a video of Abakhan village, I went there on a coach trip years ago and would love to go back, its crafters heaven. Hope you have a better week this week and thanks for the video.

OMG I'm so into gingham at the moment. Nearly had a meltdown when I saw all the different sizes and happy color variations <3 Great prices indeed! We lost the local fabric shop a few years ago, and now, I'm really into quilting so my mind has adjusted to those quilt fabric prices...I forget sometimes there are deals to be had! I love a good deal lol And I love your car!!!
