Credit to the interviewer for consistently intelligent questions that many of us would pose. And many that we wouldn't even think of!
Seeing Lindy up close is priceless, but the interaction is what adds the new dimension.

Josephina was Abby’s apprentice. She is now the top winder in the custom shop.

Josephine is a master winder. She was taught by Abigail Ybarra who was THE pickup winder at fender.

Came for the pickup repair. Stayed for the magnetism lesson.

I have been really enjoying these repair videos . Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Appreciate you!

Josefina is Abigail Ybarra’s protege.

I get a good education watching Lindy's videos.

Man, I wish these videos were around back in the 80's!

Josafina wound pickups are highly regarded. She's a pro hand guider.

Ah my all time favourite tele pickups! I hated tele neck pickups until I got a Twisted Tele. Love your channel, Lindy. It's always an education

I'm surprised Fender warranty didn't cover it on a new(-ish) Custom Shop pickup.

Twisted Tele pickup is supposed to sound more like a Strat neck pickup.

How could you not have ever heard of Josefina???
She’s as much a household name as Lindy Fralin is. I have pick ups by the both of you and love them all. ❤️

Excellent, Thankyou.❤

has to be Josephine Campos - probably from the Custom Shop.

I think it's awesome that Fender treats their pickup winders and other employees like royalty with importance and high respect. They are the most important part of the equation.  What if the pole pieces were different strengths? They got all scrambled.

i wanna hear how lindy got into making and repairing pickups. i also am curious what his absolute nightmare situation was, was there ever a PAF he destroyed or a vintage fender pickup he accidentally killed? he has so many tricks like getting those tabs out of the way, can only imagine he learned that by experience

Who’s the guy behind tue camera and when does he start winding?

Just for learning purposes, if everything else stays the same, what would happen if the magnets went in opposite of what they were originally?

Also, what would happen if only one or two of the magents went in opposite? 🤔

You do that to check the meter works and that’s it’s seeing reference 🤦‍♂️
